As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic food manufacturing environment and discover how we ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety - from raw materials to the finished product.
You will work closely with experienced Quality and Manufacturing professionals, gaining practical knowledge of quality testing, laboratory processes, hygiene controls, and continuous improvement. Throughout your internship, you will receive structured onboarding, dedicated mentorship, tailored training, and regular development conversations with your Team Lead to support your individual learning journey and career ambitions.
**As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will:**
+ Support and independently perform sampling, analytical, microbiological, and sensory testing of products and the production environment, in line with inspection plans, specifications, legal requirements, and customer expectations.
+ Support the evaluation and interpretation of test and analysis results and contribute to decisions related to product release, blocking, and corrective actions in case of deviations.
+ Support the release of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, ensuring that quality and food safety requirements are met.
+ Review and support the management of Certificates of Analysis for raw materials and packaging materials.
+ Perform hygiene and environmental controls according to established inspection plans, including checks following cleaning and maintenance activities.
+ Support the preparation and execution of sensory testing activities.
+ Maintain retention sample storage and ensure relevant documentation is kept up to date.
+ Create and update laboratory-related documents, procedures, and instructions.
+ Ensure laboratory activities are performed in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), internal company standards, legal requirements, and official testing methods.
+ Support the maintenance, calibration, and compliance of laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
+ Assist with ordering laboratory consumables and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment.
+ Work in a safety- and environmentally-conscious manner, following applicable regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.

+ Fluency in English at a working level.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director, Global Internal Audit & Internal Controls - Europe to serve as a pivotal leader in safeguarding the financial integrity and operational effectiveness of Mondelēz International. The leader in this role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of global internal audits and the European internal control function, ensuring the implementation of robust risk management practices and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead a team of skilled auditors, guiding them in performing comprehensive risk assessments, executing internal audits, and partnering with business leaders to strengthen the control environment. Your expertise will be critical in identifying areas of improvement, driving process harmonization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Beyond the technical aspects of audit and controls, the Senior Director, Global Internal Audit & Internal controls - Europe will serve as a key leader and strategic advisor, providing insightful recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency. You will champion a growth and digital mindset, leveraging technology to optimize audit processes and uncover valuable insights from data.

**What you will bring**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
+ CPA or CIA (or equivalent) certification preferred.
+ 12+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, controls, finance and risk management.
+ Experience in a leadership role managing audit teams and interacting with senior management.
+ Experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus.

**Technical Expertise**
+ Deep understanding of internal controls and audit practices.
+ Expertise in risk/control frameworks (e.g., COSO), enterprise risk management processes, financial policies and procedures, U.S. GAAP/IFRS, Global IIA and SOX requirements.
+ Broad understanding of commercial and corporate finance.
**Growth/Digital Mindset**
+ Ability to identify strategic opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
**Business Acumen**
+ Deep understanding of business practices globally with in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, sourcing, supply chain, marketing, information systems, sales, shared services and customer service operations.
+ Significant and relevant external/internal audit experience in a Big Four accounting firm and/or in a large global corporation.
+ General understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications (e.g., SAP).

You will take charge of all important day-to-day tasks in the laboratory area of the chocolate plant in Bern. In this role you will be managing the laboratory, ensuring smooth processes and operation. You will oversee sample surveys/analyses/verification of analysis certificates, as well as microbiological tests. You will ensure GMP & Hygiene Standards are met, manage process improvements and hold budget responsibility.
**How you will contribute**
**Management of the laboratory**
+ Ensure that laboratory work for the testing of raw materials, semi-finished products as well as equippable material according to ' Good Laboratory Practice ' (GLP), as well as the legal and company/intra-group requirements (methods, equipment including calibration, Ring, GLP) and official methods
+ Responsible for measurement results interpretation, recognizing trends and initiating correction measures resp. making decisions about blocking or releasing according to CP Bern guidelines. Responsible for incorporating the interfaces and their information.
+ Monitoring blocking/releasing activities in SAP
+ Responsible for internal guidelines implementation to ensure that sampling plans and analytical methods are observed
+ Coordinate and create inspection instructions for process control so that employees can apply them to the line
+ Responsible for the fact that the infrastructure/laboratory equipment meets the legal requirements and that these devices are regularly maintained and monitored
+ Laboratory-side and technical support for development and improvement projects
+ Ensure that laboratory hazardous substances are stored or applied in a safety-appropriate manner
**Sample surveys/analyses/verification of analysis certificates**
+ Ensure reliable test and analysis results at the desired time and in the required quality
+ Review and evaluate the analysis certificates of all materials
+ Responsible for input control of packaging material and conduct of odour and taste tests
+ Application and further development of company-specific analytical methods
**GMP, Hygiene and microbiological tests**
+ Monitoring of the correct sample survey (according to sampling plan) of all critical raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods according to KF requirements
+ Ensure the duration of the specified blocking for critical raw materials
+ Capture and evaluate analysis data, generate statistics and forward it to the manager and the affected
+ Monitor the required hygienic parameters such as water and air quality in accordance with the KF and Swiss requirements, to initiate corrective measures
+ Ensure that hand hygiene is monitored in the production area
**Process improvements**
+ Initiate improvements to the process organization to use the resources as efficiently as possible
+ Participate in working groups KF internally with regard to quality and laboratory aspects
**Management System CP Bern**
+ Create, update, and manage lab documents in the eQCMS (Management Document System)
**Budget Responsibility**
+ Ensure proper planning and monitoring of the department's budget, support planning of investments and preparationof appropriation requests.
+ Control and manage Laboratory budget in a cost efficient way.

+ Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level
+ Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; Represents the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums

**Job Description**

As expert you will bring a deep technical mastery of the process and equipment. That expertise allows you to lead the planning, process development and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams consisting of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors and operations personnel.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Partner & Enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability; Participates in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level
+ Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; Owns the PM-Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the PM-Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems; owns the R&M-Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line
+ Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build capability of the team to execute themselves; Build (spends at least 50% of time) technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves; be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level
+ Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s; Represents the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums
+ Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team; Help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication; be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant
**What you will bring**

+ Advanced knowledge (including AM-Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 systems & Progressive Maintenance Step 3) & skill to maintain the dedicated equipment(s)at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (BD-Breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment(s) and TPM - Phase 3 & 4 tools problem solving tools
+ The capability to lead a Role for the Line. Qualify and coach the next level SWP owners and drive the common opportunity areas across the line in PDCA-Plan Do Check Adjust approach
+ The capability to work as the Line Leader, developing and aligning goal/master plan for the line, deploying and managing IDP for the members, coaching team members on their performance management and career development
