SummaryAptiv is looking for highly motivated Accounting Analyst to
join its Finance team in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. This is a unique
opportunity to work with both tax and accounting leadership to ensure
Aptiv meets its reporting obligations in a timely, efficient and
transparent manner. This position will be responsible for preparing
legal entity tax accounting entries and reconciliations between U.S.
GAAP accounting, statutory financial accounting, and local tax rules.
The position will support compliance with the evolving OECD Pillar 2
Framework from both a quarterly reporting perspective as well as
annual tax return compliance. This role will require close
collaboration with many finance functions, including Corporate and
Operational Finance, Technical Accounting, Treasury, Transfer Pricing,
and Direct and Indirect Tax Teams. The experience gained will provide
solid foundation for continued advancement both in the Corporate
Finance and Tax Teams. Successful candidates will be positive,

to operate at pace in a tactful and collaborative manner.Your
RoleParticipating in the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring
U.S. GAAP accounting entries are accurate and completePreparation and
review of EMEA entity tax provision submissions and serve as a
resource for local market tax provision questionsAssisting with the
tax return compliance and return-to-provision reconciliation analysis
in coordination with local market tax teamsReview tax accounts of the
balance sheet and income statements to ensure accuracy from U.S. GAAP
and statutory standpointWork alongside the Financial Planning and
Analysis Team to design, enhance and monitor tax provisioning
forecasting including the completion of transfer pricing
reviewsWorking alongside the Tax Accounting team to design a robust
process to calculate the impact Pillar 2 will have on Aptiv’s
effective tax rate on a quarterly basis, including data gathering and
organizationPreparation and review of Pillar 2 annual reporting
requirementsYour Background Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
or Business Administration2+ years tax/accounting experience within an
accounting / tax function of a multinational publicly traded
corporation and/or public accounting firm, with U.S. GAAP tax
accounting exposure an advantageAdvanced experience with Microsoft
ExcelExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and
oral) with the ability to interact well with people of various
backgrounds and levelsStrong time management skills with the ability
to meet strict deadlines for U.S. GAAP reporting needsStrong
organizational skill to ensure ability to prioritize workload and
manage a number of projects at any one timeKnowledge of accounting and
consolidations systems (SAP, HFM) and tax reporting software
(OneSource) would be an advantageGood working knowledge of tax
accounting concepts (ASC 740, IAS 12) would be an advantageWhy join
