Responsibilities:



Note: this position is located in MeyrinPurpose:To drive profitability and growth of Celanese Acetic Acid and anhydride products, that are within the responsibility of the POC by means of:Having margin responsibility for the product line within the EMEA and LATAM regionExecuting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Acetic Acid and anhydrideBeing responsible for price setting guidance applicable to SalesCo and managing margin realization within the Acetic Acid & anhydride product line through commercial leversProviding guidance on the regional customer strategy and contracting;Maintaining regional demand landscape informationOwns the product portfolio development of Acid and Anhydride through creating customer account plans, translating opportunities, commercializing product packages, and surfacing project ideasHaving full P&L responsibility for the Acid and Anhydride product lines in EMEA and LatamDetermining the acid & derivatives EMEA and Latam Business StrategyResponsibilities:Drives growth and profitability through product line management by cascading in-year financial and volume targets (i.e. sub region, customer grouping) and optimizing volume allocations on a monthly / quarterly basisDevelop the EMEA and Latam strategy in line with the global strategy and lead the Acid & Anhydride business in achieving overall business objectives (volume, margin, EBITDA, working capital) as determined by POCDrives growth and profit with a sense of urgency through complete ownership of the product line’s successes, challenges, and failuresBy establishing and communicating a clear value creation model, demonstrates strong command of every program and item contributing to profits or expenses, with final accountability for profits achieved or losses realizedSets both the short-term and 3-5-year strategy for the product line(s) in their portfolio including prioritization of which customer segments provide the greatest return, how best to establish a winning product portfolio, and the key capabilities required to achieve the strategyManages margin realization by executing on market leadership actions for area of responsibility and communicating pricing trends, market changes and other information to key relationship stakeholders.Utilizes analytics to identify incremental value add opportunities both within and outside of Acetic Acid & AnhydrideDevelops a fact base of market and competitive intelligence that is a foundation for strategic as well as customer account plansSupports the development of commercialization packages for new products (including new pricing tools)Responsible for pricing for the Acid and Anhydride product line within the EMEA+LATAM regionDelivers on AOP and actively participates in budget meetingsReviews volume forecast developed by Account Managers in SalesCoLead and monitor performance against goalsDrives productivity and profit goals and works across departments and teams to identify savings opportunities which impact the P&L regardless of external forces (market challenges, FX, competition, global economic swings, etc.)Sets product pricing guidance across all customer segments and drives accountability within the segment to the pricing modelsWorks closely with S&OP and Supply Chain to ensure processes are efficient, effective, and meet the needs of the customer from a quality and reliability perspectiveResponsible for setting international and multi- region targets for volume and margin and achieving those targetsDevelop and implement marketing programs and provide appropriate sales tools to support product line objectives (forecast accuracy, AR improvement)Interfaces:Aligns with the Vice President global Acid & Derivatives on the execution of the AOP for Acetic Acid & anhydrideResponsible for providing guidance to Account Managers in SalesCo to communicate the regional customer strategyConsults with the Vice President global acid & derivatives in driving growth and profitabilityResponsible for identifying incremental value add opportunities in coordination with the other Regional Product ManagersRequests the demand forecast numbers from Account Managers in SalesCo in order to develop the volume forecast in collaboration with the POC Intermediate Chemistry (IC) Planning groupGuides the Application Technology group within the T&I organization in order to run products through the Milestone ProcessEngage Regional Product Managers (RPMs) in defining the right market pricing approach as well as deriving key elements of the business strategy for the respective products and segments




Qualifications:
