Please follow us on Nestlé R&D on LinkedIn.  As a Contract Manager in R&D, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of research and development projects. Don’t miss the opportunity to join us and work with different teams in an agile and diverse context.A Day in the Life of a Contract ManagerManage requests for R&D scientific contracts. For example, clinical trial agreements, consultancy agreements, collaboration agreements, confidentiality agreements, material transfer- agreements, research agreements, R&D service agreements, etcAdvise and support stakeholders on contractual mattersSupport scientists and project managers through the creation, issuing and negotiation of contracts and amend contract templates where neededBe the conduit between internal stakeholders and our R&D Legal advisors ensuring smooth collaboration by interacting in a timely and proactive mannerAccountable for compliance with internal guidelines regarding management of R&D contracts and contract management processesEnsure contracts are in line with IP protection plan for the applicable project and that each collaboration is protected with an adequate agreement in accordance with Nestlé processesSupport contract administrative activities including tracking progress of contract negotiations and signatures, maintenance of contract details in Nestlé contracts database and monthly reporting to internal clientsWhat will make you successfulUniversity level education (preferably in the sciences) and with legal training 5 years of experience in a contract management or related roleProactive and service orientatedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAutonomous, self-starter with ability to work independently as well as in a teamSound understanding of IP rights including patents would be a plusFamiliarity with contracts regularly used in the context of an R&D organisation would be a plusFluency in English
