a Data Engineer for its Marketing & Media team inside the Data &
Analytics department.The activities of the Marketing & Media team are
aimed at achieving the following goals:Elevated Marketing
Effectiveness: By delving into comprehensive data analysis and
modelling of marketing and media campaigns, we endeavour to enhance
the effectiveness of our strategies, resulting in heightened audience
engagement and conversion rates.Revenue Optimization: Through the
meticulous optimization of data-driven marketing interactions and
channels, our objective is to maximise customer engagement, retention,
and ultimately, revenue generation for our digital
initiatives.Operational Efficiency: Leveraging our in-depth insights
into marketing performance metrics and consumer behaviours, we strive

analyse functional needs, raw data and develop data dimensional
modelsDesign, build and deploy data pipelines with a focus on
automation, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability

that enable the company to take data driven decisionsLeverage data and
business principles to solve large-scale web, mobile and data
infrastructure problemsBuild data expertise and own data quality for
your areaQualificationsSkills and ExperienceEssentialsProven
experience of 2-3 years in data engineering or related role in a
fast-paced environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Strong SQL skills
with experience in working with relational and non-relational
databasesExperience in custom ETL design, implementation and
maintenanceProgramming languages knowledge (e.g. Python, R,
Scala)Experience with workflow management engines (e.g. Airflow,
Google Cloud Composer)Experience in Data ModellingExperience with data
quality and validationExperience working with cloud or on-prem Big
Data/MPP analytics platform (e.g. AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery or
similar)Ability to work creatively and analytically with a strong
attitude for problem solvingExcellent problem-solving and analytical
skills with attention to detail.Fluent in English both written and
spokenDesirable Experience in analysing data to discover opportunities
and address gapsExperience with SQL performance tuning and E2E process
optimizationExperience with anomaly/outlier detectionFamiliarity with
digital and e-commerce businessExperience with containerization
technologies such as Docker and KubernetesPrevious experience in the
