Within the Information Technology Department, you will collaborate with a team of 14 people with different skills and liaise with colleagues located in more than 30 countries. Under the supervision of the SRE manager, you will participate within the DBA team in various IT projects and will contribute to maintain a high-quality database service.Main responsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Oracle and SQL Server database systems.Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient operation and responsiveness.Implement security measures to safeguard database systems and sensitive information.Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that align with application requirements.Perform regular database backups and ensure data integrity and availability.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in database management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems.Provide on-call support and participate in periodic on-call rotations.Document database architecture, configurations, and processes. Skills and experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator.Proficiency in managing both Oracle and SQL Server databases.Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in scripting languages to automate routine database tasks.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Fluent in French and EnglishEFG Bank is the Swiss private banking subsidiary of EFG International.
