Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for an External Manufacturing Operations Lead who is good communicator, team player and very well organized, to join us in our External Manufacturing & Partnering Department, based in our site in Bulle, Switzerland. About the roleAs an External Manufacturing Operations Lead you will manage biological Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure the supply of biological Drug Substances with the required quality, quantity, timing, and cost, following established quality and manufacturing agreements. Who you’ll work withReporting to the Head of External Manufacturing Ops Bio and Gene therapy DS, you will be part of a team of 8 colleagues who works in a collaborative environment. What you’ll doLead Operational Management of CMOs by defining and communicating the production planning;Establish budget for productions and coordinate Raw Material supply; Track release process, manage deviations, and monitor production variances to ensure timely DS bulk delivery and conduct process performance reviews;Apply MSA and oversee amendments with CMOs;Ensure Quality Agreement compliance and conduct regular risk analysis; Define process improvement roadmap and lead projects at CMOs.Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skillsMinimum Education level: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences;Minimum 2 years in biotech / biopharma industry, in a bio-manufacturing role or QA role; Expertise in bio-manufacturing processes and in technical documentation writing and review;Experience in project management and in the management of outsourced activities; Strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written French and English;Autonomous and rigorous, with an out-of-the-box approach for problem solving.Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
