DescriptionFossil CFO is responsible for providing overall finance
leadership in the formulation and execution of business strategy for
Fossil Service P&L. In line with the announced Steam Power structure,
this future role will functionally report to CFO of Steam Power
Systems and operationally to the General Managers of the Fossil
Service P&L.Essential ResponsibilitiesPartner with General Management
and Steam Power Finance staff to define and execute business strategy,
drive financial and operational performance of the Fossil
segment.Support General Management in development and deployment of
the strategy, responding to external environment, identifying
priorities for the business and driving change across
organization.Lead strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
cycles, as well as performance pacing throughout the quarter to take
timely corrective actions.Ensure appropriate set of KPIs is in place
to monitor and drive performance of the business.Provide business
performance analytics to identify financial trends, assess segments
performance and communicate it to various audiences across the
business.Drive focus on projects cash flow and working capital to
ensure optimized cash position for the company.Ensure appropriate
footprint for the segments, drive optimal performance of
manufacturing, field service and operations within segment.Drive
financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business
(cost reduction, working capital improvement, mix management, pricing,
inflation management, productivity, etc.), recommend and support
execution of the actions.Ensure accuracy and integrity of the segment
financials, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.Drive
excellence in controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, transfer
of best practices, internal controls, etc.) and compliance.Deploy
strong governance on project accounting, act as a guardian of the
project review process to ensure SoX compliance in terms of
documentation and process rigor.Ensure key processes and controls are
in place to support a world class financial operation. Drive
enhancement of Finance tools and process improvement.Lead, retain and
develop the finance talent in the organization.QualificationsDeep and
broad experience in managing Finance function of a business unit /
division.Strong technical finance acumen, including in-depth knowledge
of US GAAP accounting, controllership principles, financial reporting
and analysis.Experience in Project Controlling and practical
experience with ASC606 Revenue Recognition Standards.In depth
knowledge of SAP.Experience in working in an international business
environment and highly complex matrix organizations. The successful
candidate must have demonstrated the ability to achieve results in a
complex, multi-geographical, and matrixed organizations.Proven ability
to lead and influence globally dispersed teams, achieving
organizational focus on key priorities, providing clear direction,
actively communicating, and driving performance.Solid understanding of
key operational disciplines, including project management & planning,
sourcing, contract management, engineering, construction &
commissioning, tax and legal.Proven ability to drive change, including
tactical planning, change management, coordination across the
organization and results monitoring.Presence, clear thinking, and
communication skills to establish positive relationships at all levels
and across functions of the company. The successful candidate must
have demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects or
initiatives.Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance from an accredited
university or college or equivalent knowledge / experience.Fluent in
