DescriptionMetaverse Technology SpecialistBreakdown of main responsibilities• Provide technical input on the Forum development roadmap, clearly elaborating pros and cons of choices in non-technical language.• Liaise with delivery partners to transform the needs elucidated by the Forum team into a workable development roadmap.• Manage hardware (provisioning, maintenance, software updates, accounts) on an ongoing basis, as well as in punctual events-based contexts.• Manage software (incl. tenant account) in conjunction with consulting partner.• Provide analysis and input on future hardware purchases.• Provide technical support for Forum staff and external partners for both VR headsets and related applications.• Supervise and facilitate the technical delivery of the experience, serve in this role on several occasions, and train others in this same role.• Serve as the team’s liaison with the Forum IT teams.• Collaborate with the Forum IT development team to deliver all related IT developments (e.g., modifications required for sign-up for sessions).• Manage Azure cloud services like deployment, configuration, and access controls.• Facilitate the provision of timely and accurate information to the Metaverse team on relevant external technological developments.• Work with the Global team to elucidate technical provisions for relevant legal agreements. • Deliver operational coordination at events where the is shown.You possess:• An advanced university degree.• Recognized IT certifications in one or more immersive and cloud platforms• Hands-on experience in game engine development especially VR/AR applications• 3+ years of professional experience, with a focus on IT in the private sector• Outstanding organisational skills and able to juggle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.• Fluency in written and spoken English.You are:• A VR enthusiast.• A team player who thrives in a multicultural work setting that is highly collaborative and fastpaced.• Able to operate independently and align appropriately with relevant team members and external partners.• Motivated by navigating and making sense of ambiguity.• Able to visualize several future scenarios and to elaborate the pros and cons in non-technical language, to direct the Forum team to the best decision possible.• Proficient in building trusted relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.• Curious with the discipline and desire to also deliver short-term results and long-term change.• Motivated by the prospect of building something wholly new, with all the responsibility that entails.RequirementsJob SummaryID: D1DDEE7614Department:Type: full time
