For a large international banking client of ours in Basel we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

Head IT Network Team - 7244

Your Role:

As Head IT Network Team you are an experienced leader and responsible for the IT network infrastructure including network security, voice and video conference across the group. You are advocating the transformation of our solutions and operating models by taking ownership and initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the network team of 8 employees
• Ensure stable operations of the network infrastructure fulfilling service level agreements including life cycle and third party management
• Manage the resources of the team to support regular operations and projects
• Define the network infrastructure strategy including the architecture and technology focus with your team to best support business needs
• Take responsibilities for network and network security related projects
• Support the on-call organization as a member

Your Profile:

• 5+ years professional experience in leading a networking security area (routing, switching, firewall, proxy, DNS)
• Knowledge in the areas of network infrastructure management, network architecture and design, project management and IT service management is required
• Experience with ITIL methodologies
• Team player, customer oriented as well as hands-on mentality

Languages:

• German – Would be a plus
• Start Date: ASAP
• End: Permanent
