And finally it is a technology leader in the area of access control and management of people or vehicles to sites and events.Location: Cheseaux, SwitzerlandMissionAs part of the global IT Network team, based in our headquarters of Cheseaux, you will manage and ensure the continuity of our Network services for our internal users as well as defining and deploying new network architecture in a stimulating technological environment.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and operate, as part of the team, the global network infrastructure: LAN, WAN, private and public Cloud, remote access, security to ensure the availability and continuity of network services.Participate in the definition of network global standards and technology roadmap in collaboration with the other team members.Act as a source of proposals for the optimization (cost, performance, usability) of the services under the team’s responsibility.Ensure a proper life cycle and documentation for the site infrastructure and services under your responsibility, in line with the standards and guidelines.Act as the network representative for projects you are member of. Propose concepts & design proposals. Validate them with the relevant stakeholders. Deploy, test and document these architectures.Design, document and carry out changes as required.Manage 2nd level incident and request tickets.Act as a local contact carrying out racking and cabling work, specifically but not only, for the Cheseaux office.Troubleshoot network problems, communicate to stakeholders and if required escalate issues to vendor.Mentor less experienced people within the team. Adequately transfer knowledge and improve the documentation.Be a positive, accountable team player.Requirements / ProfileTechnical skills:LAN WAN: Proven experience with the design and management of large campus infrastructures (100+ users). 3+ years’ experience managing Cisco campus switches and Cisco routers a must, Cisco ISE an asset.Automation: Python programming, Terraform, GIT, CI/CD proven competences a must.Security: Previous experience of Nextgen firewall management a must. Palo Alto PAN-OS an asset.Public Cloud: 1+ year experience with AWS, Azure or GCP networking a must.Private cloud: Previous management experience of Spine-Leaf architectures using VXLAN, BGP and EVPN an asset. Linux networking competences an asset.Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, ELK competences an asset.Degree & Certifications:Bachelors in CS or equivalent experience a must.Cisco certification an asset.Palo Alto certification an asset.AWS or Azure certifications a strong assetSoft skills:Comfortable in a fast-evolving environment.Able to step-in rapidly and autonomously on the jobGood communicator; strong verbal and written communication skills.Service oriented with strong listening skills.Organizational skills with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.Comfortable working in a geographically distributed team.Reference: 14510 Publication Date: 12-03-2024
