Our 98,000 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionThe role will work closely with SGS’s Group VP of Investor Relations, Communication and Sustainability, as well as Investor Relations Manager to support the preparation of investor reports, presentations, consensus gathering and marketing materials, and play a pivotal role in developing SGSs reputation by contributing to the communication and organizing events with analysts, corporate management and our investors, and for the leadership team.Support the organization and attend various investor meetings, conferences (including our annual Investor Days and leadership conference) and site visits to promote SGS’s storyCoordinate and align with the Investor Relations Manager the strategic investor targeting, using internal and external databases and systems to target new potential investors globallySupport the organization SGS and/or third-party roadshows, prepare for and attend investor meetingsSummarize the key points of in-depth analyst reports looking for new analysis and changes in number / viewsCoordinate the data collection and report construction for the senior management and the boardWork with databases, calendars, electronic files in an organized and logical wayOversee shareholder ownership and maintain investor relations contacts and interactions detailsSupport the IR Manager in researching and responding to investor / analysts’ queriesAssist in the research and preparation of the background materials and reports as required by the investor relations function in advance of investor/business development trips, senior management and board meetingsUnderstand competitor results and messaging as well as the impact of any regulatory changes to support the IR teamSupport the preparation of financial materials for investor reports, presentations and marketing materials, including quarterly valuation reportsSupport the gathering financial estimates, running and managing of the consensus model, tracking companies estimates against analysts estimates internally and externallyLiaise with sustainability team for investor relates matters Come up with suggestions for how to change and improve the way that investor relations worksQualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance or similar is preferredDemonstrated interest in the strategic value of investor relations for a companyProven experience in the coordination of events and for the preparation of materials showcasing company performance to the outside worldAt least 3 years in a administrator/coordinator role in an investor relations environmentHighly motivated individual, with strong presentation and networking skillsClient relationship management experience an advantageAdaptability with strong organizational skillsThis position requires a person who is passionate, energetic, and competitive and wants to be the best in their field. A high level of integrity, intelligence and maturity is required. Ideal competencies are listed below but are not limited to:Well-developed verbal & written communication, presentation, report compilation in English and interpersonal skills including ability to explain and present difficult concepts and data in a manner understandable by the financial community.
