This position at our client's site in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, comes with a permanent contract with Eurofins-PHAST, Switzerland.Job DescriptionFor our client’s international team in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a Laboratory Automation Engineer (all genders). In this exciting and versatile position, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Project lead for laboratory automation/ robotics of strategic investment projects in the field of pharmaceutical analyticsDeveloping and implementing new software and hardware solutions for lab-specific automation application Presenting project updates and solutionsEstablishing proactive communication lines with other project teams and external partnersPartnering with academia and external companies for scouting of new technologies for laboratory automation solutionsEnsures compliance of company policies and procedures regarding processes and projectsQualificationsFor this multifaceted position we are looking for someone with:Bachelor’s Degree with working experience or Master's Degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Process engineering, Automation or System engineering), Computer Science or similar (ETH/FH or comparable education)Preferably previous experience in laboratory automation engineeringFamiliarity with a highly regulated industry and knowledge of medical standards would be a plus (e.g., GMP, test specifications, FAT, SAT, Qualification process: IQ,OQ)Strong project management skillsExcellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills and process thinkingExperience in manufacturing or design of electronic products is a plusSelf-starter mentality (innovative and flexible) and able to work independentlyEnglish Level C1 is required, German would be a plusFamiliarity with network (e.g. TCP/IP, OPC) and control/robotic systems as well as programming skills (Matlab, Labview, C++) are a plusAdditional InformationWe are offering you an interesting position within a truly global company.
