The Maintenance Controller is part of the Technic Maintenance Control,
which manages the technical condition of the Swiss and Edelweiss
fleet. He supervises the daily operation of the fleet and is
responsible, in case of a technical irregularity, to get the aircraft
back into operation in airworthy condition, as quick as possible.Start

GermanAufgabenSupervises the daily operation of the Swiss
International Air Lines and Edelweiss FleetIs the main entry point for
all technical issues within the maintenance departmentHave the right
aircraft back in service at the right time and optimize aircraft
availability (in collaboration with NOC) when 100% availability is not
possibleProvides technical assistance and support to flight crews and
maintenance staffEnsures communication links between Maintenance
Operation Manager, Troubleshooting, Technical Fleet Manager,
Engineering, Planning, PCA as well as fleet operation control, FDO's,
etcCoordinates and answers “daily operational” technical questions or
requestsReports the Technical Advice Time and ready for operation
outlook to the respective fleet Operations Control
CenterVoraussetzungenEASA Part-66 B1 or B2 AML with at least two type
ratings on either Airbus 320/330/340/220 or Boeing 777, or University
degree (BSc or MSc) in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical
EngineeringMinimum 5 years holder of B1 or B2 Part 145 Certification
Authorization on minimum two Swiss operated aircraft types, or type
rating certification with technical engineering experience on LX
operated aircraftGood knowledge of EASA and NAA regulations (Part-M,
-145, -66)Familiar with Maintenance Information Systems, preferably
AMOSLeadership experience in maintenance or technical engineeringTeam
player with active and clear communication skillsFluency in written
and spoken German and EnglishCustomer oriented, self-management and
