Tasks

In this dynamic role, you will split your time between supporting our back-office business administration and contributing to our venture architecture team. You'll have the unique opportunity to blend academic knowledge with innovative business modeling, playing a key part in both our company's operational success and the growth of our digital ventures.

Support in Business Administration:

  • Financial Operations : Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting tasks; understanding financial processes and controls.
  • Market Research for Corporate Strategy : Conduct research to inform our mother company's market positioning and business strategies.
  • Administrative Duties : Handling routine administrative tasks such as organizing meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.

Support in Venture Architecture:

  • Business Model Development : Contribute to the conceptualization of digital business models, learning to analyze market trends and customer needs, and support in our end-to-end process from idea validation to the delivery of MVPs.
  • Market Research : Conducting research on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor analysis to support go2market strategies.
  • Strategic Project Support : Help in formulating strategic plans for new digital initiatives, understanding the steps for successful implementation and alignment with business goals.
  • Prototyping and MVP Involvement : Get involved in the early stages of prototype and MVP development, offering support and gaining insights into practical aspects of business concept testing.

Common Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Support : Assist in managing projects, gaining experience in ensuring they meet set timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Client and Customer Interaction : Engage with clients and customers for feedback and insights, learning to integrate this information into effective business strategies.
  • Collaborative Teamwork : Working across different departments like marketing, sales, HR, and finance, providing a comprehensive view of business operations.
Requirements
  • Educational Background : Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Science or Engineering.
  • Basic Business Knowledge : Understanding of fundamental business concepts and principles across areas like marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze data and information, and use these insights for decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication abilities, necessary for interacting with team members and potentially with clients.
  • Organizational Abilities : Skills in managing tasks and priorities, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured manner.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration : Ability to work well in a team environment, contributing to collaborative projects and initiatives.
  • Initiative and Proactiveness : Eagerness to take on responsibilities, learn new skills, and actively contribute to various business functions.
  • Language Skills : Fluent in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
