Beyond Gravity is the preferred supplier of structures for all types of launch vehicles and a leader in selected satellite products and for constellations in the New Space sector. Beyond Gravity also uses its space knowledge for applications outside of space technology: The high-precision products have already been used in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years.Your responsibilityProvide daily support to manufacturing operations and related support teams in order to assure technically correct manufacturing and product flow, thereby assuring the necessary quality, OTD, and production costs Work cross-functionally with operations, quality, design engineering, and other teams to define manufacturing work instructions, equipment, tools, materials, and trainingUtilize project management techniques / tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirementsPlay key role in the non-conformance process and secure measures for root cause analyses, corrective and preventive measuresSupport continuous improvements in concerned manufacturing processes to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand requirementsEstablish and provide the necessary documentation in support of strategic operations programs as well as for customer programs, support and participate in project reviews as necessaryProactively support and coach the production technicians through frontline support utilizing an integrated project team approach; provide training material (both software and hardware) as neededEstablish standard work practices across manufacturing and eliminate waste to increase productivityDevelop and verify new jigs, tooling, equipment, parts, and processes to meet requirements Actively participate in the change management process as it relates to your respective manufacturing process, driving and implementing process / design changes, support improvement of business processesWork with international colleagues in order to evaluate, improve, and transfer latest state processes and maintain standardization across the company portfolioYour ProfilB.S. degree or similar experience in a related (engineering) field with extensive relevant experienceDemonstrates insight into quality and safety standards including AS9100 and OSHA or similar Previously worked with composite, metallic, and non-metallic materials2+ years of previous hands-on Engineering experience in a more complex manufacturing settingFluent in English, German is an advantageSpace or Aerospace experience is an advantageProduction line leadership experienceLean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge/experience; experience with SAP or other ERP, MS OfficeExperience with MES, CAD and other relevant complex softwareWhat we offerWork in an international environment with global mindset and high-tech products that will fly into spaceA highly specialized and motivated team with a lot of know-how in a unique industryWe live a hands-on mentality and take suggestions for improvement seriouslyAttractive employment conditions (contribution to public transport, trainings and development opportunities, full paid maternity/paternity leave and many more)Flexible and mobile working and at least 5 weeks of vacation with possibility to buy additional vacationWe do not accept dossiers from recruitment agencies for this position. Your contactDid we spark your interest in this exciting position?
