of our development globally and to maintain delivering high quality
customer service and the best products to our partners,we are now
looking for a Mechanical Lead Engineer for our e-System Thermal
division. Our Lead Engineers work directly with customers to
understand their requirements, their needs, and then successfully
convert these into the product design.The Lead Engineers then manage
the entire project, working with cross-functional teams, transferring
knowledge to engineers to ensure we deliver the required product in
time.Your responsibilities:Successfully drive and manage the product
development process for actuators and valves, while tracking against
milestones and working within time and cost constraintsDesign: turn
research ideas and customer needs into technical plans according to
internal processes, including change managementTesting/validation:
track progress, review test results and communicate next steps or
escalate if needed; reporting on regular basis to management and
customersQuality: support in case of quality issues, identification of
root cause and development of sorting methodsResearch and Development:
collaborate with corporate engineering team for product development,
collaborate with global engineering teams for components design and
specifications, fixture designs and change managementV Cycle, FMEA,
PLM: document according to the development process, periodical updates
and living documentationEnvironmental assessment: consider the
environmental impact of new products and their manufacturing processes
and how they would be safely disposedDefine standard engineering
process and best practice in the Lessons Learned Database and apply
them to every new developmentBe the technical lead for all projects
while adapting to the company's digital transformation and automation
for Mechanics, HW Electronics, Software, DC-motor, Purchased
components and othersLeading by example, be the leader who supports
others in succeeding, acting as a role modelOur
requirements:Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering or
similarMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a modern manufacturing
environment in the automotive industry (plastic and metal
processing)Excellent working knowledge of 3D engineering tools
(preferably Unigraphics NX); the ASPICE environment; and FMEA
processesExperience in developing high volume series in the automotive
fieldThe ability to work independently and systematicallyDisciplined
use of mandatory processes and natural authorityA reliable, and
conscientious personality who can successfully co-ordinate the work of
globally situated teams Excellent communication skills in English.
Additional language is an advantage (French/German)
