DescriptionDePuy Synthes is currently recruiting for a PTS Service and Repair Project Quality Manager. The preferred location for this role is Oberdorf, Switzerland however candidates may also be located within a commutable distance of the DePuy Synthes offices in Amersfoort, Netherlands. DePuy Synthes solutions, in specialties including joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spinal surgery and sports medicine, in addition to the VELYS Digital Surgery portfolio, are designed to advance patient care while delivering clinical and economic value to health care systems worldwide.The PTS Service and Repair Project Quality Manager will be responsible for the worldwide Service and Repair business for DePuySynthes Power Tools. This will include operational management and representing the Power Tools business on the Global Service Board. This position will drive consistency between service and repair processes at all Power Tools locations and partner with the local commercial organizations to ensure customer needs are satisfied and regulatory / quality requirements are met.Position duties & responsibilities:Partner closely with DPS Global Service Quality Manager to ensure that any new initiatives at local Service center are implemented and executed as per Local and Global quality requirementsClosely partner and support WW Service and Repair Senior Manager to align all locations to consistent processes for quality, operations, and training in the onboarding/decommissioning of powertools product.Develop, track and report key project/programme performance indicators (KPI’s) during project implementation and post-delivery KPI’s to track full benefits delivery.Cultivate and manage external relationships and partnership to deliver significant change to the Service& repair Powertools business.Provide consistency, facilitate collaboration, challenge decisions and ensure progress against project schedulesMaintain engagement of all stakeholders throughout project lifecyclesParticipate to the shaping of the recommendations and/or solutions, providing valuable insights to the discussionsIdentify opportunities for process improvement within existing cross functional and/or cross regional teams and processes.Provide regular updates to the Leadership Team, in particular the identification of project risks and providing guidance risk mitigation.Ensure full project delivery to schedule, quality and budget, including transition to full business “ownership” supported by relevant change management processes and handover documentation.Develop Project Charters and Implementation Plans.Manage Project Teams cross-department, cross-country without direct line authority.Provide quality oversight for processes pertaining Service Manuals, Service Bulletins and all additional documents for Service and Repair work.Effectively manage inventory levels with continuous optimization of costs, replacement periods, quality and security in procurement.Responsible for implementing and executing local Service and Repair related CAPA and NC processes.Manage or support service and repair related projects, including projects related to quality and/or cost improvement project.Responsible for the quality budgets of repair centers and management of any assigned personnel.Support finance team with financial reporting for each repair locationSupport process to evaluate which products should be repaired by each service centerCo-develop WW Service and Repair Center network strategyBe familiar and adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. Immediately inform supervisors If there are any violations, deviations or hazards present related to health, safety or environment.QualificationsEducation & experience requirements:Engineering or Business Bachelor’s degreeMaster’s Degree preferred10+ years of experience in Health Care Industry,5+ years of experience in QualityPrefer previous experience in manufacturing or service and repairPrefer previous experience in the medical device industryLeadership behaviorExperience with change managementExcellent negotiation and influence skillsDecision-making abilityStrong presentation and communication skillsAbility to manage conflictsStrong Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, WordPreferably experience with: EtQ, Trackwise, PLM systemsAbility for planningOrganizational talentJob Field: Quality ControlOrganization: Synthes GmbH (7111)
