Responsibilities & Qualifications
What awaits you:As Senior Financial Analyst in the Novelis Europe FP&A department, you will report to the FP&A Manager. In this position, you will manage reporting and forecasting various commercial metrics. You will act in a dynamic business condition that will require close alignment with value streams to maintain good quality data, understanding changing aspects, contractual agreements with customers and surcharges applied.Reporting and forecasting of commercial metrics like shipments and conversion premium for financial forecasting processUnderstanding changing business conditions and contractual agreements with customers by working with value stream teamsAligning and review production planning with supply chain team and suggest process improvements to ensure process efficiency.Conducting modelling and creating scenario analysis to suggest optimization for key metrics for different stakeholdersSupporting overall financial forecasts and annual budgeting processHow you convince us:You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other related disciplineYou bring at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience in operating finance (financial planning & analysis, costing, accounting, and reporting)Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking including advanced mathematics skills to support data modeling.Extensive experience with Power BI, business intelligence tools Demonstrated capability using modern toolsets such as (R, Python, SAS) is preferredAbility to deep dive into the details of the business while staying focused on the big picture, as well as absorbing new data, facts and information rapidlyYou are highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as working within a team to contribute to a positive team culture.Verbal and written fluency required in English – knowledge of German is a plusWhat Novelis offers you:An international working environment with a communicative culture and opportunities to take additional responsibilities within your career at NovelisYour position will be based in our European headquarters in Küsnacht, with strong links to our operations in the different countriesWe are offering an unlimited working contract with an additional bonus programFlexible working hours and the possibility for mobile workingFree beverages, coffee, tea and fruits in the officeCorporate Benefits: Attractive purchasing benefits from well-known companiesA company pension scheme supported by Novelis and other additional benefits Have we caught your interest?Then become part of our team!
