Championing a collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment empowers our colleagues to reach their full potential.Job DescriptionIn the Integration & Output Domain, we provide banks a sustainable path in combining Avaloq Core banking system and ecosystem products.You will be surrounded by smart, highly capable people who are passionate to build the next generation of innovative applications to address the upcoming challenges of integrating our Avaloq Core Banking systems with different third parties being able to cope with all the new technologies.In the Rest team we evolve and maintain solutions that allows to integrate third parties over the REST protocol.We are looking for passionate Senior Backend Engineers to join our team to help us in the development and maintenance of our integration products.Your key tasksWork as part of an agile development team in line with the product roadmapDesign and develop Back-End Integration products and services, mainly microservice-based REST APIsImprove code quality via Unit and Integration testsFollow and promote best coding practices within the teamPerform code reviews and coach junior team membersTake ownership and responsibility for his area of expertiseQualifications5+ years of development experience preferred with a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Full-stack Java development experience (java 17+) including knowledge of common tooling such as Spring Boot and JPA, GraphQL, Liquibase, and Spring SecurityAdvanced proficiency RESTful API buildingKnowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, including Git, Gradle and Jenkins CI tool, JIRA, Confluence, Code ReviewsHands-on experience developing microservices using modern technologies such as Apache Kafka, REST APIs, containerization ( Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructureTesting frameworks: Junit, MockitoBasic Linux operating system knowledgeAuthentication and security over REST protocolFluent English both written and spoken is a must (minimum B2)It would be a real bonus if you haveKnowledge of Avaloq Core Banking System and AMI functionalitiesWealth management or private banking knowledgeGerman, ItalianAdditional InformationWe realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
