Senior Material Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Tasks:Lead in polymer material (encapsulant) development projects in close cooperation with suppliers and external partnersSupervision of various PV-module R&D activities related to encapsulantsResponsible for encapsulant development roadmapTechnical evaluation of novel encapsulant filmsDevelopment of PV-module BOM’s. Planning, execution and analysis of all DOE’s required thereforClose cooperation with procurement & production within cross functional teams in terms of material selectionContinuous maintenance/improvement of material specificationsRoot cause analysis & solution evolvement of material related module issues observed during testingFurther development/optimization of material test proceduresDevelopment of new, high efficient and competitive PV-modules (module efficiency, -power, -cost/Wp)Your Qualifikations:Degree in a natural science with specialization in polymer materials (FH/ETH) 5 years industrial experience in comparable field requiredExperience in lead of R&D projects desiredOutstanding analytical skills and structured working methodologyTechnically versed and robust personality with outstanding interpersonal skillsUsed to working in a dynamic environment Proficient in German and English (verbal and written communication skills)Willing to travel up to 20% of your working time
