Senior PCBA Component Engineer

We're looking for a dynamic and team oriented person with a background in electronics who is willing to join an international engineering background and optimize the electronic department.

Main accountabilities and output

- Act as main contact for all component related technical and commercial requests
- Proactively manage approved manufacturer list and communicate with EMS
- Component portfolio life cycle management (PDN/PCN/second source)
- Processing new component introduction
- Processing new second source requests
- Support CM with local preferred supplier list
- Support component failure root cause analysis
- Support Reach, RoHS, Conflict Minerals and Life Cycle Analysis
- Sharing of manufacturer contact network / manufacturer workshop / seminar infos
Requirements

- Bachelor or Master Degree in electrical engineering, min. 2 years of work experience

- Experience with PCBA-Design and selection & qualification of PCBA related components

- Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes

- Knowledge in SAP and Omnify preferred

- Independent worker, able to act on his own

- Excellent communication skills

- Attention to detail

- Fluent in English
