The highly dedicated, multi-disciplined team at MP is committed to developing breakthrough medicines for serious diseases.Position descriptionPosition titleSenior PK Scientist - Pharmacokinetics (100%)Job descriptionAs an addition to our skilled preclinical team, we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Preclinical pharmacokinetic lead. In this role, you will lead our preclinical PK platform and you will set up, manage et complete all preclinical PK packages with the team in each project for novel therapeutics in cancer immunotherapy and Radioligand Therapy (RLT). As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be expected to interact with project teams and several collaborators as part of project development.This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities:Lead preclinical PK platform;Set up, manage, and complete preclinical PK packages for novel therapeutics in cancer immunotherapy and RLT;Interact with project leaders and different departments (LG, In vitro, Preclinical platforms, Translational and Clinical teams) to align, plan and execute the adequate preclinical PK package;Ensure highest quality of data;Independently execute designed experiment plans and interpret study observations;Effectively record and report experiments;Summarize and present data packages to the project team for discussion;Actively interact and work closely with team members to establish requirements and work-plans to support the development of project-specific assays;Keep up with state-of-the-art practices/technologies and ensure appropriate methods are utilized to obtain maximum effectiveness for preclinical sample analysis, including identification, evaluation and selection of relevant CROs.This position summary is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Requirements For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled individual who features the following credentials:PhD degree in biological science;7+ years of experience on preclinical PK;Experience in PK/PD modeling is a plusExperience with the planning and conducting of preclinical drug development studies, including design and execution of a DMPK strategy7+ years of experience in a biopharmaceutical environment;Background in tumor biology or cancer immunology is mandatory,Background in Radioligand Therapy is a plus;Open communication and team-orientated;Proactive and independent working style;Experience working in an agile environment;Reliable and well-organized;Familiar with MS-Office programs;Flexible with ability to quickly become acquainted with new tasks;Solid knowledge of English.Our offerPartnership and collaboration are at the core of our company, our research activities, and our product candidates.
