We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer & Business Process Modeler to:• work collaboratively across the organization• be one of our senior business process modelers• actively contribute to our modelling community to define standards and best practice • share your experience with all the other members in our crew• be comfortable within a fast moving agile team • take ownership and drive deliveries within a supportive team environment• embrace the complex derivatives on the platform and enjoy the challenge of simplifying and rationalizing• be part of our team and closely interact with our stakeholders to define business process implementations for our Dynamic Case Management PlatformYour teamYou'll be working in the Client Assisted Services agile crew in Zurich. The team is developing workflow solutions for the client onboarding and other processes supporting client advisors and middle office functions.Your expertise• university degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related disciplines• very strong business process modelling skills and ideally the experience in using BPM frameworks/products• proven practical experience in full stack web and software development including HTML and CSS, Java, React, Postgres and Oracle • great experience in building solutions using design standards• expertise with BPM engines (e.g. Flowable, Activity, Camunda) is a strong plus• hands-on experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration and testing • adaptable to a business environment with fast changing requirements and priorities• strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the desire to work as part of a global team• practical experience using dev tools including GitLab and Jira• diligent, concise and accurate work style, with great attention to detail • strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skillsAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
