Software Development Engineer (m/w/d)

What you’ll do:Elaborate DPIM cloud strategy and architecture together with ICP Business Development, Eaton Industry 4.0 team, Eaton Bright layer team, Eaton IT, and external partners.Support and extension of existing MSSQL databasesDevelopment and maintenance of existing web applications, web services and REST APIsCollaboration in the development and maintenance of Windows/Linux applicationsDevelopment of optimization proposals according to feedback from production and customersApplication, consulting and problem solving support for production, customers and internal usersQualifications:Completed studies in the field of software development or comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in the field of software/application testingSkills:Good knowledge of distributed systems (Microsoft Azure Cloud, Cybersecurity, MSSQL databases) as well as software programming (C#, ASP.net Core, Html, Javascript, C++ desirable)Experience with distributed teams across multiple international locationsStrategic and forward thinking, planning, and actingWillingness to use new technologiesGood command of German and English, both written and spoken#LI-AP3
