Senior System Architect, you will independently conceive new
scientific/engineering work to support business strategies and needs.
Moreover, you will apply theory, engineering practices and procedures,
and demonstrate technical competence in the research, development and
implementation of technical solutions to sophisticated technical
problems where little precedent exists. You will also develop
concepts, experimental setup and prototypes to prove technical
feasibility and lead the implementation of new or improved technical
solutions in the field of aerosol generating engine development. Apart
from these, you will be capable of leading
multi-disciplinary/multi-functional problem solving teams and interact
with external resources, vendors/EMS on scientific / technical issues,
serving as a scientific / technical resource and domain expert to
upper management. You will also be in charge of insuring the knowledge
on Heat engines and any technology related to heat engine are
accurately documented and be a key "go-to" individual for any
questions related to FDA application.More specifically, you'll• Apply
sophisticated analytical, scientific or engineering theories,
concepts, and technologies to problem solving in area of development
of aerosol generating engines. Ensure the documentation of all
methodologies applied in order to be reused by other System
Architects.• Plan and conduct sophisticated individual research
projects from concept to building aerosol engine functional prototypes
requiring independent thought and technical judgment. Report on
research and development activities according to Quality Management
System.• Collaborate deeply with Scientists from PPT team in order to
develop new heating engine concepts or improve existing heat engines•
Review the latest technological developments and identify those that
should be researched further. Identify external partners capable to
develop perspective technical solutions.• Lead technical development
projects of external collaborations to deliver needed services and
products in-line with timelines and quality levels required for RRP
development. Handle demanding time constraints.• Participate in and
lead multi-functional problem solving teams working company wide to
apply research and technology assessment results to business problems•
Build-up knowledge in physics, electronics and RRP products, devise
innovative approaches to solve problems. Contribute to building
Intellectual Property Assets Portfolio.Who we're looking for•
College/University degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or Physics (MSc or PhD)• 10 years of relevant industrial
work experience in the area of interdisciplinary research and
development. Relevant Industries would be:- Consumer/mobile
electronics - Automotive electronics - Electronics Manufacturing
Services (EMS) - Medical Device manufacturer - Scientific instrument
manufacturer. • Experience (or awareness) on medical device
development would be desirable• Hands on experiences in product
engineering design, competences needed in at least 3 of the following
fields: System design, Electronics, Radio frequency, Firmware, Signal
processing, Mechanical engineering, Thermo dynamic, Battery
technology, Aerosol chemistry• Good Interpersonal skills and
presentation skills in order to build a good network within and
outside the company• Able to explain sophisticated systems to people
not knowledgeable in the heat engines field• Proficiency in English
