To start your talent journey with us, apply now as:The Team Leader Process Engineering and Laboratory will lead a team of 14 engineers and laboratory specialists. The position holder will be responsible for the definition, introduction and continuous improvement of engine piece part repair processes, such as Cleaning, Thermal Spraying, Plating, NDT, Shot Peening, Welding, Brazing, Painting etc. Furthermore, you will be making sure that laboratory services for chemical and physical analysis are delivered consistently at the highest standards. The team acts as a technical and procedural support to both operational and administrative organization, it proposes process improvements and accompanies their implementation in close collaboration with Shop Floor Operations. The team plays a key role in establishing processes, new repair methods and capabilities are developed as needed by the organization.Your tasksLead and inspire our Process Engineering and Laboratory teams by fostering a positive and high-performing work environmentEnsure the definition of standardized repair materials and processes based on approved data and ensure that these meet applicable quality standards and compliance is establishedDefine equivalent consumable materials and processes per Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE)Deliver chemical and physical laboratory services at agreed-upon service levelsPlan and manage laboratory consumables, investments, and equipment maintenance in coordination with the businessSupport Operations in their day-to-day duties, including provision of tailored trainingPerform process reliability audits, diagnose process failures to identify root causes and develop and implement respectively sustainable solutionsSupport the introduction of repairs and renewal of approvalsActively propose process improvements and monitor their implementationDrive the continuous development of team capabilities in line with the evolving needs of the businessYour profileScientific Engineering degree (EQF Level 6 or Level 7) or equivalentMinimum 5 years leadership experiencePractical experience in a relevant field or equivalentStrong Operations background, preferably in the aerospace MRO businessProactive and flexible character with a strong achiever mentality and the ability to work autonomously on complex tasksAbility to energize teams and oneselfHigh safety, quality, and cost awarenessFluent in English (Level C1), German (Level B1) is an advantageYour chanceAn attractive position in a global and dynamic companyCompetitive employment conditionsOpportunity for professional and personal developmentThank you for your interest.By submitting your application, you give your consent that all personal data you have submitted here may be processed by us for the purposes of candidate selection process in our company.Please note that only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
