In this role, you will manage and coach a team of Team leads for production, optimize production schedule and support with the automation of the process. The teams focus on the production of the buffers in the facility. The manufacturing execution with regard to safety, quality and on-time-in-full delivery will be your key measure. You will interact with an interdisciplinary team of project leaders, supervisors, MES and DeltaV specialists and you will be accountable for the performance and results of the assigned projects. Become part of this exciting opportunity and apply now!Key responsibilities:Manage a team of Team leads for production with full responsibility for all aspects of human resource management such as qualification, development, coaching, hiring, pay decisions and discipline issuesImplement the Lonza culture via openness for change and new ideas, cooperative teamwork and continuous improvement even outside his/her own area of responsibilityAccountable for the execution of all production campaigns in his/her manufacturing unit with regard to safety, quality and deliveryFirst contact person in case of production issues in his/her manufacturing unit according to the common escalation guidelinesProduction Support, QA and production teams with expertise in solution finding and trouble shootingRepresent the operational area in customer meetings, audits and regulatory inspectionsKey requirements:Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or related disciplinesWorking experience in Biotechnical manufacturingMES and DeltaV experienceGood leadership as well as very good communication skills and interaction with all kinds of interfaces within the organizationStrong team orientationStructured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestionsAgile, highly motivated and dynamic drive; solution-orientedBusiness fluent in German and EnglishEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
