Technical Lead Front-End (f/m/d)

We are looking for an overall technical lead for our Disco team, which builds and runs Tamedia’s news sites and apps. The tech stack is mostly React, Next, Node, and Mongo. You have a special interest in frontend.Perhaps you have never focused on being a “leader”, but have noticed that others seek out your opinion and help. Experienced engineers come to you when they want someone to look at their technical designs or code.You like to understand how frameworks work, under the hood. You find that the “how” to use a framework is usually easy, and the “why” and “when” to use the framework are more interesting questions. You choose the right programming paradigm and language for the particular problem at hand. And you also understand the value of converging on a focused tech stack.You are able to talk to people with different backgrounds.You dislike dogma - you form your own opinions, and revise them as needed.You are patient with people who don’t code, but suspicious of “architects” who don’t code.
