Position : Treasury & Trading IT Senior Project Manager Treasury & Trading IT Senior Project Manager Mission We are looking for an IT Senior Project Manager with hands-on knowledge on the specific field of Trading activities combined with strong functional & technical architecture skills on the full end-to-end chain within Wealth Management banking industry. The candidate must be able to interact and communicate effectively with senior population across all departments of the bank (Wealth Management, Asset Management, Treasury & Trading, Finance, Compliance, Operations, IT, etc.). The work location is either Zurich or Geneva with weekly travels to the other location (2/3 days a week)Main responsibilities Define and follow-up on the overall (IT) project schedule(s) that capture cross functional involvements and determine the best course of action Define or actively support the definition of the full end-to-end functional and technical architecture Assist and validate the functional and technical specifications related to the processes and applications involved Define / clarify the project(s) budgets ; track and manage project spent Ensure on-time delivery, cost within budget, scope risks change control and communication for the whole IT project Leads team(s) through execution of project across Agile and waterfall methodologies: provide guidance for business analysts, Developers, and testers assigned to the projects or programs and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the project lifecycle Identify key risks and issues and define mitigation responses Follow-up on tests preparation and execution (SIT and UAT), Assist and train users in the project implementation as well as after the project go live Assists in business development, such as proposals, RFPs and estimates. Analyse business scenarios/cases Liaise with the business to provide guidance from an IT point of view Establishes key metrics/KPIs and perform a timely reporting to IT management and bank stakeholders Prepare and lead IT coordination meetings (IT Project Committee, IT Steering Committee) ; prepare and co-lead with the Business Project Manager the overall project and steering committees Core competencies Strong functional and technical architectures skills Strong knowledge of the Front to back chain within a Wealth Management banking industry Very good knowledge on trading activities Projects management / Business Analyst skills on complex projects Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills Able to build strong relationships Organized and autonomous Analytical skill Highly structured and methodology orientation Hands-on, delivery oriented, reliable Stress tolerance / resistance Ability to run effective project meetings, workshops and conferences Knowledge of different project management methodologies Bachelor’s degrees in project management, business management or related field, graduate degree preferred Project management certification – PMI preferred Fluent in English and preferably in French, German would be a plus This online recruitment system (hereinafter, ‘e-Recruitment Portal’ or ‘Portal’) is used by the Geneva headquarters of Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA (hereinafter, ‘UBP’) in accordance with Swiss law, in particular with regard to data protection, and with the principles below.
