The Utility Operations and Maintenance Technician (a) will be responsible for the following task area:

  • Ensuring 24/7 shift operations and keeping up and running all utilities (e.g. Clean Utilities, HVAC, etc.) through SCADA monitoring systems (DeltaV and Siemens Desigo)
  • Operating utilities systems according to instructions and procedures
  • Executing shift tasks according to shift lead instructions and operational plan
  • Executing maintenance / revision work (repairs / Assembly / dismantling of equipment) according to instructions
  • Executing Daily site walkdown and recording in CMMS
  • Executing Regulatory PM tasks e.g. (boilers 72h checks, safety shower flush)
  • Addressing defined and straightforward identified issues according to defined procedures
  • Maintaining proper work environment (5S) according to shift lead instructions
  • Executing preventive and corrective operations task according to instructions and operational plan
  • Documenting events, create reports following business requirements
  • Keeping track of the carried-out inspection and maintenance work through CMMS
  • Compliance with all safety instructions (EHS)

In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

  • Mechanical or technical education and apprenticeship degree (e.g. maintenance specialist, engineering operating mechanics, etc.)
  • At least one year of experience in operations of industrial systems, ideally in pharmaceutical or related industries such as chemicals or FMCG
  • Experience with SCADA systems and other systems such as DeltaV, Siemens Desigo, CMMS
  • English skills (min. B1), any other language is an asset
