As “Embedded Software Engineer“, you develop and verify embedded software with respect to specification, defined cost, quality and schedule, and contribute to the department continuous improvement. The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- Contribute in identifying customer needs and estimating software development efforts
- Model and analyze software requirements
- Perform software design, code and integration
- Perform software verification (review/analyses/high low level test)
- Comply with industry quality guidelines
- Support client during testing activities
- Perform maintenance of previously developed projects
- Contribute to the improvement of development methodology and to technical innovation
Your Profile
- University Degree (Master) in software or robotics Engineering
- 2-4 years of industrial experience in Embedded Software Engineering activities, ideally including FPGA
- Ideally experienced, with industrial development processes (Aerospace/Energy sector) as well as knowledge/experience in designing and implementing signal processing algorithms (Accel/Tacho/FIR)
- Ability to understand and contextualize customer needs, in industrial development or research context
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a changing environment and to prioritize duties in order to meet deadlines
- Good team player and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Autonomous, proactive and “can do” attitude
- Out-of-the-box thinking and curiosity
- Fluent in English with very good command of French (spoken and written).
