Your key responsibilities

- Support national and international clients in payroll and personnel administration
- Keep payroll accounting and/or are responsible for payroll accounting, including communication with clients, tax authorities and social security partners
- Support our near-shore and off-shore teams to complete monthly payroll tasks
- Provide support in the acquisition of new clients and networking at the location
- Work on exciting internal and external projects from day one and gain in-depth insight into a wide range of industries and corporate divisions

Skills and attributes for success

- A recognized diploma/certificate in payroll, social security specialist or social security expert
- An excellent level of English; German/French is considered as an asset
- A strong analytical mind and the ability to combine method and rigor
- A first significant experience in in-wage processing
- A sound knowledge and experience in MS Office, ABACUS and/or SAP is considered as a plus

For an international company in the global agribusiness market in Basel we are looking for a Senior GDPR Consultant - temporary assignment (100%), min. 6 months

Responsibilities

Senior manager role leading enterprise-wide data protection compliance across a global Agri-tech organization operating in 130+ countries with ~60,000 employees. Responsible for establishing, implementing, and sustaining comprehensive privacy governance frameworks, with particular focus on GDPR compliance and emerging global privacy regulations.

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision :
  • Develop and drive global data protection strategy and vision aligned with business objectives.Lead organizational privacy transformation and maturity enhancement initiatives.
  • Global Privacy Program Management: Oversee and take accountability for the execution of functional campaigns and assess the effectiveness of those campaigns. Oversee optimization of OneTrust privacy management platform.
  • Team Development and Capability Building: Lead and develop central privacy specialist team and build organizational privacy capability through training and development prorgams. Forster global data protection community.
  • Operational Excellence :
  • Provide expert consultation on complex data protection questions and lead incident response and crisis management actions, data breaches, cybersecurity incidents.

Profile

  • Educational background in law, information security, data governance or related field
  • Several years of experience in privacy program management, regulatory compliance or data governance
  • GDPR and global privacy regulations (CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, etc.)
  • Privacy technology platforms (OneTrust implementation and optimization)
  • Data mapping, privacy impact assessments, and risk management frameworks
  • AI governance and related compliance (EU AI act)
  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Global privacy program development and execution
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management and influence
  • Team development and talent management
  • Senior stakeholder communication and related reporting & updates
  • Operational Management
  • Incident response and crisis management
  • Process optimization and continuous improvement
