**About the Team:**
The Global Laboratory Data Solutions department houses many different departments under its umbrella. The specific department you would be working in is Client Facing Data Management. Data Management works with our clients to format and deliver data in a way the client can ingest into their system and support their submission to Regulatory submission for New Drug Application. We work with our clients in strategic partnership to develop standards, processes and innovations within Data Management.
**Internship Assignment Summary:**
+ Attend training sessions to learn tools linked to Labcorp internal databases, Data Transfer and workload assignment linked to Data Management processes.
+ Learn about process gaps, how to address them and how to work through a process improvement plan.
+ Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your presentation skills, communication skills and professional presence.
+ The Lab Data Solutions Team needs an Intern who will meet with our Managers, Leads and SME's to identify significant process gaps. Work with those SME's to enhance current processes or develop new processes to address those gaps. As well as update the tools and dashboards to reflect those updates. This project will be centered around Data Management Process and Tool Enhancement.
**Education/Qualifications/Skills:**
+ You must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.
+ Proficiency in English.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, more specifically Excel.
+ Knowledge of SQL, C++ or Python is a plus.
+ Attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical mindset.
+ Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
+ Ability to embrace diverse ways of thinking through various forms of collaboration and partnership.
+ Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

**About the role:**
As a Supply Chain Excellence Performance Management Data & Digital Lead, you will manage and optimize various supply chain processes to support business goals. You will be involved developing and implementing strategies to improve logistics, production planning, and inventory performance management, contributing to Takeda's mission of delivering better health to people.
**How will you contribute:**
+ Business Process Leadership for Performance Management and Business Intelligence.
+ Manage junior Stakeholders driving discussions (e.g. around target setting and targets achievement) leveraging on soft skills and own network.
+ Responsible for the development maintenance and optimization of Global Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators and the related performance management process, supporting performance dialogues and best practice sharing.
+ Make valuable information available to all levels of the business for decision making and optimization, aligning and connecting plants, functions, manufacturing regions and OPU's, and bridging between various systems where appropriate.
+ Contribute to GSC/DD&T large project teams and leads mid to large projects.
+ Partner with DD&T, functions and project teams to ensure the proper creation and maintenance of KPI's reports; managing the definition of strategy, design, implementation and maintenance of the most appropriate digital Business Intelligence solutions, in corporation with DD&T, showing agility in operating in a nonhierarchical matrix organization.
+ Lead or contribute to initiatives and complex projects in the area of Performance Management/Business Intelligence.
+ Contribution to GMS dashboard and maintenance/continuous improvement of the current GSC dashboard and its future evolution.
+ Managing, maintaining and enhancing existing Global Supply Chain reporting solutions on the various platforms, interacting with users to capture demand.
+ Supporting capability building in the area of KPI's performance management and contribute to best practice sharing and supply chain managers network meeting, contributing to team development and hiring of new team members.
+ Lead Performance Dialogues and Communities of Practice (CoP's).
+ Lead team communication including innovation and benchmarking.
+ Lead benchmarking exercises (e.g. POBOS).
+ Own digital products.
+ Contribute to data governance.
+ Proactive and able to handle complexity within a matrix environment.
+ Ability to work in team and to value diversity, partnering with less experienced colleagues.
+ Strong ethics and integrity.
+ Ability to have difficult discussions with stakeholders.

**What you bring to Takeda:**
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics/Science, or a related field.
+ 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data modeling, analytics, visualization. Experience in Biopharma is a plus.
+ Strong proficiency in data modeling concepts; experience with SQL, Python, DAX, M and modern analytics techniques is a plus.
+ Experience with custom building data visualizations (in QLIK and/or PowerBI is a plus)
+ Proficient in Supply Chain concepts (Material Requirements Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Projection, Performance Management etc; relevant certification e.g. APICS is a plus).
+ Can operate in highly complex situations, improve workflows, and provide guidance to others* Applies advanced decision-making skills to complex situations, provides recommendations, and mentors others in decision-making processes.
+ Fully proficient in executing Continuous Improvement Process strategies in highly complex situations, capable of advising and coaching others on best practices and improvements (relevant certification e.g. Lean 6 Sigma certification is a plus).
+ Experienced user of SAP products.
+ Familiarity with financial reporting is a plus.
+ Broad experience and good understand of Supply Chain.

+ Solid experience in SAP, APO, and BI.
