Responsibilities:

In this role you deploy, configure and maintain Windows and Linux Servers. You manage virtualization platform and implement storage solutions. Moreover, you develop automation scripts. In addition, you are in charge of backup, disaster Recovery and high availability. You manager user access provide support and training.

Profile :

• Bachelor in IT
• English fluent. French, a plus
• Minimum 5 years 'experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure
• Experience in international environment
• Certification : Windows Server Administrator and VMware Certified Professional
• Experience in Windows Server, VMWare, VSphere, Hyper V
• Expertise in enterprise storage
• Excellent knowledge in backup and disaseter recovery (veeam)
• Good knowledge in AD
• Good knowledge in scripts
• Good knowledge in MS Entra ID, Azure
• Good knowledge in migration
• Knowledge in MS SQL

Key IT Infrastructure Role:

• We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, configure and maintain Windows and Linux Servers.

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms and ability to implement storage solutions.
• Development of automation scripts using programming languages.
• Design and implementation of backup, disaster recovery and high availability measures.
• User access management and provision of technical support and training.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required.
• Excellent English language skills essential. French language proficiency is an asset.
• At least 5 years of experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure.
• International work experience preferred.
• Certifications in Windows Server Administration and VMware Professional desirable.
• Expertise in enterprise storage solutions and knowledge of backup and disaster recovery technologies (Veeam).
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, scripting, MS Entra ID, Azure, migration and MS SQL.

This is a hybrid role offering flexible work arrangements.

For our client, a company in the manufacturing industry based in Winterthur, we are looking for a System Engineer IT Infrastructure - Cloud for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities:

• Engineering, administration and provision of cloud architecture and security (Azure Cloud)
• Ensuring the operation and further development of the IT and network infrastructure at the headquarters and branches in cooperation with external service providers
• Managing infrastructure projects and interdisciplinary collaboration on digitization projects
• Further development of IT governance and IT security based on ISMS and BCM
• Collaboration in 2nd and 3rd-level support as well as service, incident, problem and change management

Your qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent training
• Several years of practical experience in the areas of network, server, client, cloud, storage and backup
• Comprehensive knowledge of M365, Azure Cloud Architecture & Services, proof through Microsoft certification desired
• Willingness to take over team management in the future (succession planning)
• Experience in industrial IT environments is an advantage
• Enjoyment of constant technological development and innovation
• Strong communication skills, customer- and service-oriented personality
