Mission:

As a Communications Intern, you will assist the Media Relations Unit within the UCI Marketing, Communications, Medias and CSR Department.

Main Responsibilities:

Media Relations & Operations

- Compile press clippings for daily press report
- Ensure press monitoring
- Assist the communications team with media operations (press conferences, interviews, creation of media materials )
- Assist with media accreditations
- Assist in creating and distributing press releases
- Assist in administrative duties
- Build and update media lists and databases
- Schedule, coordinate and attend various events
- Perform research and market analysis activities.

Editorial

- Create and curate engaging content
- Proofread and edit content in both English and French (letters, articles, press releases, newsletters)
- Assist the communications team with content development
- Review website content (articles, communications, informative texts).

Profile:

- Student in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Fluent in English/French (spoken and written)
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to share information effectively
- Knowledge of sports and a high interest for cycling
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player with strong interpersonal skills, especially in a multicultural environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable using social media channels.
