Die Abteilung Gehaltsmanagement verantwortet das Städtische Lohnsystem (SLS) und entwickelt es nach strategischen Vorgaben weiter. Sie berät dezentrale HR-Verantwortliche in der Anwendung des SLS und trägt die Hauptverantwortung für die jährliche Lohnrunde.

- Sie führen Auswertungen zum Lohnsystem durch (Lohnvergleiche, Lohngleichheit).
- Sie erstellen Excelauswertungen aus den Personalinformationssystemen.
- Sie leiten Projekte sowie konzipieren Schulungen und führen diese durch.
- Sie bearbeiten politische Anfragen im Fachbereich.
- (Fach-)Hochschulstudium, bevorzugt mit Schwerpunkt in Human Resources oder vergleichbare Ausbildung

Pour notre équipe Compensation & Benefits, nous recherchons notre futur stagiaire pour une durée de 6 mois. Au cours de votre stage, votre mission principale sera d'assurer notamment un support pour les mobilités internationales. Dans ce cadre-là :
- Vous apporterez votre soutien administratif pour les déménagements internationaux et coordonnerez ces derniers avec des partenaires externes
- Vous assurerez le suivi des transferts et serez en charge de contrôler les différents coûts en collaborant avec notre département finance
- Vous assisterez les collaborateurs concernant les procédures de déménagement ou d'immigration
- Enfin, vous contribuerez à divers projets propres au département, ainsi qu'à la mise en oeuvre d'améliorations des processus
Qualifications
- Actuellement en cours d'études ou récemment titulaire d'un Bachelor en ressources humaines, en Business Management, ou en finance, vous avez un intérêt marqué pour les ressources humaines
- Vous maîtrisez parfaitement le français et avez un minimum B2 en anglais
- À l'aise avec les outils digitaux, vous faites preuve de rigueur dans le traitement des données et êtes à l'aise avec les chiffres

We will count on you to:
- Partnering with Clients and delivering innovative consulting projects: Participation in medium and large client projects with internation exposure on topics incl. Pay Equity, executive and employee compensation, job evaluation, organizational structure, performance management, job architecture
- Consultative Selling: Partner with C-suite, HR, Talent and Reward leaders—scoping needs like compensation benchmarking, job architecture, compensation program design, employee listening surveys, and assessment solutions
- Solution Tailoring: Partner with the Career Team to define value based proposals combining salary benchmarking, incentive strategies, and other HR related topics such as engagement platforms, and psychometric assessments.
- Account management : Advising customers from different industries within the scope of account management responsibilities and driving positive outcomes through Mercer solutions offering
What you need to have:
- Successfully completed studies in business administration, economics, psychology, mathematics or a comparable field of study, preferably with a focus on HR and/or compensation
- Several years of professional experience (depending on level) in a consulting environment, ideally with a focus on compensation, is an advantage
- You have a good understanding of the preparation, processing and evaluation of data
- You are particularly characterized by strong analytical and communication skills
- You already have very good knowledge of common MS Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel
- You communicate fluently in English, German and/or French

HR Operations Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a team of experienced HR Operations Specialists in the fields of Payroll, Compensation, Benefits (including Social Security), and Time & Attendance. In these HR fields, you are responsible to ensure a smooth HR service delivery for ABB Switzerland and the Group's Headquarters. You will take full accountability for delivering daily end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality services, and enhancing the overall customer experience for both customers and the Business. You will be responsible for meeting globally set standards for HR Operations while ensuring strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all processes across Switzerland. As Team Lead, you will drive operational excellence across all activities and processes in your scope, while fostering collaboration with key HR partners and stakeholders. You will manage your team in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll and process execution, while also advancing process improvements and supporting strategic initiatives.

This role is contributing to the HR Services department in Baden, Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing payroll for approximately 4'000 ABB employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supervising a team of experienced HR specialists
- Overseeing daily operations, including data maintenance, monthly payroll runs, compensation and benefits administration, time and absence management
- Taking ownership of delivering annual processes around bonuses, salary revisions, and fringe benefits, as well as time and absence
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations such as tax, social security, and insurance regulations, while driving risk and control measures, including SOX requirements and audit readiness
- Being in charge of and contributing to projects and process improvements of varying size and complexity
- Acting as a partner in M&A activities by providing expert guidance and service delivery in regards to payroll, compensation, benefits, and time & absence
- Collaborating with internal HR teams and stakeholders as well as external parties (such as service providers or authorities)
Qualifications for the role
- Solid educational background in commercial/business, HR, or a related field, complemented by an HR and/or social security certification
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a complex, international organization, including leadership responsibilities
- Expertise in SAP HCM and MS Office, Workday experience is a plus
