As a domain consultant for network security transformation, you provide technical expertise and guidance in customers' network security and zero trust journey. You will be key in defining technical solutions that secure a customer's key business imperatives. You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security services that establish Palo Alto Networks as a customer's cybersecurity partner.

For our client, one of the leading IT service providers in Switzerland based in Bern, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for a permanent position.

Your responsibilities:

• You develop, plan and implement state-of-the-art cyber security solutions and put them into operation directly at our customers' sites
• You create and present well-thought-out security and solution concepts and implement them with innovative technologies
• You are a competent consultant in the field of cyber security and convince our customers with your expertise
• You support and advise our sales team in preparing offers and actively participate in the presales phase to offer customized solutions
• You will contribute your expertise to our company and, with your creative and innovative ideas, make a significant contribution to the further development of our cyber security services and solutions
• You will take responsibility for on-call and on-call duty (approx. 5 weeks per year) and ensure maximum safety for our customers

Your qualifications:

• You have a higher education (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience in the cyber security environment and also have solid knowledge in the area of networks
• You have in-depth knowledge of the products and technologies of leading manufacturers, ideally Check Point, Fortinet, F5 or Cisco

As a Security Engineer at Zühlke , you will work on various customer projects and make a significant daily contribution to securing our customers' digital products.
