Honeywell Sensing Solutions (HSS), has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional with industry leaders to build relationships and facilitate expanded business opportunities. Candidate will be responsible for evaluating the segment of Aerospace and Defence (A&D), understanding market dynamics, identify key players and associated Tier suppliers and develop an initial network within this fast-growing market. The role works in partnership with the other Business Units at Honeywell to create and develop new opportunities. Candidate will also provide guidance and direction in developing robust opportunity pipeline, creation of new partnerships where applicable, and customer relationships for current markets and expanding to adjacent markets. Candidate will be responsible for high level decision-making based on a realistic assessment of all potential changes and their impact. Through new ideas and initiatives, your aim is to improve and expand the overall A&D business prospects. Candidate will have a passion for A&D.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and manage the Business Development, including strategic partnership with key stakes holders (Customers, system suppliers, partners.)
+ Conduct research to identify new sub-segments and customer needs
+ Develop and maintain executive level relationships with key stakeholders
+ Advise senior management
+ Provide thought leadership & drive external engagement and awareness in the A&D ecosystems
+ Think creatively

+ Cross functional teamwork especially with Gov. Relations
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Minimum 10 years of direct experience in the areas of strategy, campaign planning and business development

  • Ensure account health, client satisfaction, and continuous value delivery through proactive engagement and solution alignment.

2. Relationship & Network Development

  • Leverage your professional network and industry connections to identify potential partnerships and business opportunities.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in non-core IT industries such as FinTech, Insurance, Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, or Hi-Tech .

  • Engage with organizations that do not have an established offshore or India delivery presence and present the value of leveraging global delivery models.

3. Solution Consulting & Business Alignment

  • Work closely with clients from their offices or onsite when required to co-create transformation roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with delivery, technology, and consulting teams to design customized, outcome-driven solutions.

  • Bridge client needs with internal capabilities — ensuring the “skills to needs” match is precise, strategic, and measurable.

4. Market & Industry Expertise

  • Bring a strong domain specialization in one or more industries (e.g., FinTech, Insurance, Energy, Healthcare, Hi-Tech).

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends and innovation opportunities within the chosen domain to advise clients credibly on transformation strategies.

  • Translate industry insights into actionable business opportunities and service enhancements.

5. Growth Enablement & Collaboration

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance go-to-market positioning and service relevance.

  • Identify account expansion, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities through value-based engagement.

**Your Role**
+ Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Support research efforts focused on market dynamics, industry developments, and evolving customer needs.
+ Support the analysis of sales data and market trends to ongoing growth opportunities.
+ Participate in internal benchmarking discussions, comparing organizational capabilities with broader market practices, with emphasis on high-growth components or services.
+ Help coordinate customer meetings, follow-ups, and documentation.
+ Support on Maintain and update sales tracking tool system (salesforce)
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, intelligence, global sales) to support sales initiatives.
+ Participate in strategic projects and contribute to process improvements, emphasis on long term standardization
**Your Profile**
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills, personality
+ Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, Sales forces tools is a plus
+ Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
