**Your role and responsibilities**
As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client in shaping the strategy while guiding the technical team to implementation and operation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system to facilitate, iterate and document the design and adoption of a hybrid cloud model.
Your primary responsibilities include:
* Strategic Advisory for Integrated Solutions: You will act as a trusted advisor aligned to industry trends that develops the framework and integrated solutions that meet the customer's business vision and needs.
* Collaborative POC Execution and Solution Development: Collaborate with members of the client and IBMers team to define and execute proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions.
* Hands-On Solutions Architecture Ownership: Own the solutions architecture plan while being a "hands-on" builder in a client-facing engagement.
* Entrepreneurial Innovation for Client Success: Champion an entrepreneurial mindset and deliver unique value by leveraging industry and technology expertise to drive innovative strategies to accelerate clients' success.

**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise IT infrastructure and platforms (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
* Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Solid understanding of networking, storage, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools.
* Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation.
* Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices and identity management.
* Ability to create scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and mentoring skills.
* Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
* Skills to manage complex topics and projects across different teams and management layers.
* Completed studies in business informatics or IT (university, FH, or equivalent).
* Fluent German and English - written & spoken (at least C1 level)
* Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU nationality
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience in public administration or any regulated industries.
* Strong initiative, quick comprehension, and a service- and results-oriented approach.
* AWS, Azure, or GCP Architect certifications.
* Red Hat certifications.
* TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent.
