As a (Senior) Project Engineer (m/f/d) in Biomechanics Testing Laboratory , you will be responsible for planning, conducting, analyzing, and documenting product safety tests, including sterile packaging. You will start by familiarizing yourself with the product portfolio and the testing methods and processes used at our site. You will then independently design test concepts and experimental setups for our existing and new products, continuously developing them further.

What will you do:

  • Review and analyze existing test data and documentation, summarize according to internal procedures.
  • Plan, conduct, analyze, and document product safety tests for implants and surgical instruments, including sterile packaging.
  • Familiarize yourself with the product portfolio and site-specific testing methods and processes.
  • Independently design and develop test concepts and experimental setups if required.
  • Develop expertise in biomechanical testing and act as a key contact for integration team and quality assurance.
  • Communicate with external laboratories and partners if needed.

What will you need:

Required:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanics, Medical Technology, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 0-5 years of experience in testing medical products, ideally of mechanical components, or biomaterials, with strong knowledge of mechanics, materials and biomechanics.
  • Knowledge of high-quality standards within a highly regulated industry (e.g. Medical Device, Aerospace, Pharma, Automotive).
  • Excellent English skills, and an appreciation for an innovative, international work environment with high professional standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python or coding is a plus but not required.
  • German language skills are a plus.

Technical Responsibilities
+ Manage, execute and coordinate technical and process-related (sub-)projects within the
+ Project Engineering Organization.
+ Perform engineering tasks and support construction and commissioning/qualification on Process topics within the Project Engineering Organization.
+ Assure timely delivery of engineering related activities and documents throughout entire project life cycle
+ Responsible for scope, budget, safety, quality and schedule of assigned tasks.
+ Revise and develop standards and concepts for process equipment and associated requireddocumentation to be used in future projects.
Education & Experience
+ Minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering
+ Bachelor's degree + 10 years experience or Master's degree + 2 years in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical process industry.
+ Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility.
+ Experience of multi-cultural work environment
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language

Job Description You will play a key role in shaping the digital foundation of our Power Tools Accessories business unit. In this global role, you will lead cross-functional digital projects, drive digital strategy initiatives, and ensure that digital solutions and transformation become true enablers of our business success. With close international collaboration and a flexible work model, this position offers both impact and balance. Proactively manage business requirements and coordinate global and regional collaboration on S/4 HANA (ERP) and MES implementations. Develop and maintain digital strategies, governance standards, and policies to drive digital transformation. Ensure risk management, data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations (e.g., EU Data Act). Lead digital projects, with a focus on the rollout and S/4 HANA integration across plants, adapting solutions to specific business unit and market needs.
