Role Purpose:
The FP&A Analyst functions as a strategic partner in the management and optimization of financial operations for Genedata AG and its subsidiaries. This position is tasked with providing comprehensive financial insights and analysis to inform business decisions, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. As an integral member of the Genedata Finance Team, the FP&A Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing best practices in financial management, and supporting critical decision-making processes to facilitate business success.
Responsibilities:
+ Prepare the monthly financial consolidation of the 6 Genedata subsidiaries according to USGAAP
+ Prepare the monthly reporting package of Actuals and Forecast including variance analysis and KPI reporting
+ Analyze financial data, identify trends and variances and provide insights to inform decision-making
+ Develop monthly forecasts, yearly budgets and financial models to predict future performance and support strategic planning
+ Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed to support specific projects or inquiries
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A, data analysis, controlling or similar role
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements, ideally experience in financial consolidation
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus
+ Experience with Salesforce and Power BI is a plus

As Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intern you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, while supporting strategic decision-making across various brands. Details of the role include supporting monthly financial reporting and variance analysis within wholesale channel, across various brands; assist in building and maintaining financial models for forecasting and budgeting; collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc financial projects and presentations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;


  • Client-centric with a proven ability to generate value and deepen client relationships;


  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus;


  • CAIA or CFA certification is considered a strong asset.
