For our client, a company in the health insurance industry based in Bern, we are looking for a Head of IT Service Management for a permanent role. Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and managing the ICT service portfolio? As Head of IT Service Management, you will lead a dynamic team. In cooperation with our ICT service providers, you will assume responsibility for the availability and performance of services, systems, workplaces, and networks.
Your Responsibilities
- Control and management of ICT services, e.g. Corporate IT, Workplace, Network
- Review of SLAs regarding availability, quality and performance
- Close cooperation with ICT service providers in the realization of high-performance services
- Management, coaching and further development of the interdisciplinary team
- Promoting an agile mindset and continuous improvement within the team
- Identification of bottlenecks and solutions for efficient resource use
Your Profile
- Completed training and further education in the fields of computer science and IT service management
- Several years of professional and management experience in the IT service management environment
- Experience in using agile methods and modern service management tools
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- High level of leadership skills and teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and customer-oriented thinking
- Fluent in german and english

**Let's talk about the role!**
The primary responsibility of the **Service Delivery Tech II, EUS** is to enable VF employees to use technology that allows them to work more efficiently. The Service Delivery Tech II, EUS is expected to provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to VF associates while providing exceptional customer service.
We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the Service Delivery Tech II, EUS role:
+ Identify, triage, and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity.
+ Accurately, document, track, and monitor problems using applicable systems and tools.
+ Provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. Basic knowledge/interest on audio/video streaming events assistance and post-productions video editing . Adobe Premiere Pro or Blackmagic Davinci Resolve beginner level knowledge is highly valued
+ Accept various projects, develop work plans, and ensure timely completion as directed.
+ Must have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
+ Installation and Support of company and required hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP, scanners, phones, tablets) and software.
+ Be a resource to the IT Platforms (Zoom, Local Backups, Local Servers, Local Networks, etc.) that may need assistance with Projects and support of the day-to-day IT Infrastructure at the location they support
+ Help maintain an accurate stockroom inventory of personal computer devices (laptops/desktops) and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, docks)
+ Monitor hardware and application performance based on expected benchmarks and provide feedback to the EUS Leadership
+ Assist users with new technology training when introducing new offerings (MFA, OneDrive, Self Service, etc.) helping the VF workforce to adapt and embrace technology to work more efficiently
+ Provide tech bar type service for face-to-face engagement with VF associates
+ Support conferencing/collaboration technology leveraging VF solutions of Audio/Visual displays (Zoom, telephony, Brandlive, etc.)
+ Hardware configuration and deployment following VF standards
**Skills for Success**
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
+ Preferably AA/BS degree in Computer Sciences or related technology field
+ Experience: A few years in IS/IT environment In-depth technical knowledge of workstation hardware and software, printers, network and peripheral equipment like scanners, tape-drive, palm pilots, etc.
+ Language skills: Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset
+ Technical certifications such as MCSE, MCTS, A+, Cisco preferred
+ Strong Analytical Skills
+ Ability to work with peers in collaborate teams
Good relational skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills will help you getting the job done and going the extra mile. We are looking for:
+ A pro-active Team player, able to perform well under pressure
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server platform, Windows and Mac OS, local area networks and the VF wide area network.
+ Computer hardware and software troubleshooting
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (OS & Office), Apple OS/iOS, Citrix Client
+ Perform at a high standard of efficiency and work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs
+ The ideal candidate should have a basic interest and some foundational knowledge in multimedia and event support. This includes familiarity with audio concepts, such as microphones and mixers, and a general curiosity for assisting in large-scale townhalls or virtual events via Zoom or Teams. While advanced expertise is not required, a willingness to learn and engage with technical aspects of event setup is essential. Enthusiasm for hands-on involvement in multimedia event preparation is highly valued.
