The department:
The Central EMEA Supply Chain Planner is handling: demand planning, IBP, inventory management, service management (STEM, allocation) and replenishment management in alignment with country and global partners and the company strategy.
The role:
The successful candidate will be particularly focusing on SAP S4 Hana implementation and business adoption. They are further accountable for Forecast accuracy, Service levels and inventory levels in the regional DC and in the countries. To achieve this the selected candidate will work in close collaboration with Global Plan, Marketing, Finance and country Commercial/ Finance teams to ensure alignment to global/regional and country business goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
roles and responsibilities
- Drive business adoption and support implementation of SAP S4 Hana Demand Planning & Lifecycle Management
- Provide statistical forecast input for platform/region/cluster/country demand planning process and handle business forecasts over 24-month horizon for strategic and manufacturing/capacity planning.
- Build and maintain product volume and mix forecasts using historical data, statistical models, and market intelligence.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and report key data, enhancing decision-making and bridging gaps in revenue, profitability, and cash conversion vs. the business plan.
- Load, maintain, and ensure forecast integrity in E2E Planning Systems.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI), LCM and portfolio optimization processes, aligning demand plans to the portfolio strategy for both NPI and LCM and leading Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at SKU level, communicating changes to all partners
- Collaborate with Data Governance to ensure relevant master data is created and obsoleted in regional systems at the right time.
IBP and Financial Integration
- Analyze consolidated data for local demand review (DR) meetings, regional IBP and executive IBP, demand handover (DHO) reviews, and integrated reconciliation, including creating and consolidating presentation materials, preparing agendas, tracking action execution and maintaining Risk&Opportunity trackers.
- Ensure alignment between global, regional, and country/cluster IBP touchpoints, including demand handover processes.
- Identify and address gaps between demand and financial plans, driving reconciliation actions.
Inventory Management
- Supervise regional inventory initiatives, including inventory entitlement coordination (including safety stock), planning parameter maintenance, SLOB monitoring and reduction actions, Inventory projections and IBP integration.
- Apply segmentation strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, including varying lead times and adjusting safety stock levels.
- Track and support key metrics, including gross/net inventory value, Days of Supply (DOS), and SLOB inventory.
- Manage inventory levels across the region, ensuring alignment with cash flow targets.
- Implement Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) releases between regional hubs and local distribution centers.
- Lead returns process from regional to global hubs. Service
- Coordinate with Global Plan for timely product availability/service levels in the countries, Supply Feedback Loop (SFL) as the exception Supply Commit Process.
- Ensure business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges by ensuring timely escalation for significant supply disruptions.
- Coordinate event management of both demand and supply events (STEM) between global, regional and local partners and ensure timely communication of service disrumptions.
- Improve OTIF performance and minimize backorder value (BO) through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Communicate supply issues, root causes, corrective actions, and recovery timelines to commercial and supply chain partners.
- Collaborate with marketing/sales to resolve customer allocation decisions based
- on demand, supply, and customer prioritization strategies and ensure perfect
- execution of demand management.
Analytics & Process Improvement
- Measure and supervise the forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS) at different levels and initiate strategies and actions to continuously improve forecast accuracy, reduce errors, and optimize customer service and inventory metrics.
- Support efforts to improve Integrated Business Planning (IBP) maturity.
- Proactively recommend and implement process and system improvements.
- Drive intelligent automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Improve inventory management policies, standards, technology, and procedures.
- Represent team on projects as assigned.
- Propose initiatives for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:
- We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive individual with strong communication and collaboration skills to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst.
- Results & Performance Driven: Must be highly motivated self-starter and confident to independently work in a remote team.
- Analyze & Manage Data: Use advanced analytical skills to interpret large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with scenario planning and supply chain analytics is preferred.

Missions
- Ensure that adequate production is taking place with the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in order to meet customer demands.
- Support the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders from CMO's, and interact with Market Supply Planning, Customer Liaison, Customer Service, CMO Site Planning, and Virtual Plant Team (VPT) in achieving the on-time delivery of Puchase Orders.
- Act as External Manufacturing (ExM) contact for internal and external customers for product inquiry, shipments and scheduling activities.
- Ensure purchase orders are placed in a timely manner according to contractual requirements & to meet project timelines etc.
- Review and update open order reports and track order exceptions and communicate unresolved issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support synchronization of orders from MSP and other customers to support campaign timing and consumption of tolled material.
- Implements standard processes for efficient and effective communication of information from CMO to customer for example: open order reporting & shipping plan communication.
- Ensures CMO provides open order confirmations through agreed process.
- Proactively supports CMO and customer requests/queries in relation to supply, demand, logistics requirements, artwork change implementation, ship on test requests etc. Support ad hoc market and customer requests for information.
- Ensure CMO supply chain team is kept up to date in relation to regulatory approval status to allow on time production to occur.
- Supports gathering of information for investigations and MAFF meetings. Acts as delegate for the Supply Chain Manager at MAFF meetings as required.
- Coordinate product reworks/redress at CMO site, as required by the business.
- Provide input into performance metrics analysis and comments (RTP, Backorders, Anticipated Backorders).
- Execute and support priority planning as necessary through review of Backorder/Anticipated Backorder (BO/ABO) information and customer inventory levels.
- Provides monthly forecast to CMO to account for delivery requirements in long-range planning horizon.
- Support and lead projects as required.
- Act as the main point-of-Contact between Planning and the CMO for resolution of supply issues that may impact Customer Service in the market.
- Act as the interface with Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Supplier Relationship Manager, and Procurement to support resolution of any supply risks that may impact Customer Service levels.
- Work with CMO and MSP team/Customer to manage shortages/allocations and stock-outs in the market.
- Proactively determines the impact of supply disruption, quality events etc on market supply & keeps Virtual Plant Team and customer informed of such impact.
- Escalates to Supply Chain Manager as required, performs other tasks as assigned.
Profile
- BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related discipline, Masters degree is a plus.
- 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical / consumer products industry in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite.
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage workload accordingly through task prioritization, possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Possess excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP) is a plus.

**Position Summary**
For our Supply Chain department, we are looking for a **Supply Chain Intern** reporting to Factories Planning Manager for Coffee. In this role, you will contribute to stock cover optimization and gain hands-on experience in project management. You will collaborate closely with Nespresso Factories, Packaging suppliers, and Production & MRP Planners to execute projects aimed at optimizing stocks and workload. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in project management, supplier relationship management, and process improvement, while observing how Continuous Improvement Project Plans are built and executed. You will have the opportunity to be part of Nespresso's digital transformation journey in Supply Chain, supporting the implementation of innovative tools and data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and decision-making across our operations.
**A Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Intern**
+ Manage projects focused on continuous improvement for Nespresso
+ Help overseeing inventory management for packaging materials
+ Implement new methods to optimize packaging stocks and workload
+ Collaborate with Production & MRP planners, suppliers, and procurement teams
+ Engage with logistics, finance, and other professionals within the supply chain
+ Assist in executing strategies to enhance operational efficiency
+ Learn managing different steps of the products' lifecycle
**What will make you successful**
+ Completing a Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
+ Having a previous experience in supply chain and/or project management is considered a plus
+ Great project management competencies and organizational skills
+ Autonomy and the ability to work independently
+ Excellent communication skills to work in an international setting with various stakeholders
+ Strong analytical skills with an expertise in Microsoft Excel and agility to quickly learn the use of other software
+ Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
+ Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French or other European languages is a plus

Develop a career in logistics and transportation by joining our team as a Supply Chain Strategist.
Role:
This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing material, component, and goods flows to ensure optimal availability for production and/or distribution.
Key contributor to synchronizing supply chain and logistics activities while meeting deadlines, costs, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop shipment/distribution plans based on forecasts and operational needs.
Coordinate inbound (raw materials/components) and outbound (finished goods) flows with carriers and warehouses.
Optimize transport and storage costs while maintaining service levels.
Manage planning parameters in ERP systems (lead times, lot sizes, safety stock).
Analyze lead time coverage and anticipate requirements to prevent disruptions.
Monitor and resolve logistics issues (customs, transport, supplier delays).
Track KPIs and support process improvements.
Participate in projects on digitalization, automation, and supply chain optimization.
Requirements:
5 to 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation required; planning experience is an asset.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems, ideally SAP.
Knowledge of GMP pharma/biotech environment is a plus.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and results-driven mindset.
Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
