**Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Audio ML Engineer to join our team. As an Audio ML Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that enable audio-related applications such as audio-driven face animations and multi-modal face animations in 2D and 3D. You will work closely with our research and product teams to develop and implement state-of-the-art audio processing algorithms and machine learning models.

Advances in AI, data, and computational sciences are transforming drug discovery and development. Roche's Research and Early Development organizations at Genentech (gRED) and Pharma (pRED) have demonstrated how these technologies accelerate R&D, leveraging data and novel computational models to drive impact. The Engineering - AI Enablement group within DDC is accountable for. enabling AI! We do this across the board with our scientific and computational partners based on their goals. We help embed our AI strategy across our research organizations by providing employees with the tools and support needed to adopt AI into our daily work-helping us work smarter and enhancing our day-to-day work. We also build and deploy AI based solutions that reshape and transform business processes in order to unlock value at scale and optimise workflows. We also work on scaling up model training and inference, evaluating the quality of AI/ML models and output, and building impactful applications which accelerate the scientists doing the critical work of drug discovery and development. Partnering with colleagues to build, deploy and evolve a modern tech stack and utilities to enable our AI/ML and agentic efforts will be a key foundation to our success. Our aim is for everyone who can benefit from AI/ML to be able to leverage that utility where and when they need it, from data analysis to literature search to documentation writing. **The Opportunity:**
As a machine learning engineer in AI Enablement, you will be working closely with folks that span the gamut from Computational Scientists, Research Scientists, AI/ML experts, Product leaders, DevOps, and everyone in between. You'll build, own, and constantly improve scalable AI/ML based systems that unlock the potential of our diverse scientific data, accelerating the discovery and development of life-changing treatments for patients.

+ Strong proficiency with AI/ML frameworks, libraries, and toolsets.
+ Expert knowledge of statistics, machine learning theory, and algorithms.
+ Strong knowledge of ML performance optimization, GPU best practices.
+ Experience with kubernetes, relational databases, NoSQL databases, or data lakes, and experience working on cloud-native architectures in public clouds (ideally AWS).
+ Proven understanding and application of engineering best practices.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted partnerships with internal and external collaborators.

Their CE-certified, Class IIa medical device is already available in over 10 countries worldwide—and they’re just getting started.As Aktiia enters a new growth phase, we’re looking for a capable and visionary “ Head of AI & Data Science” to scale their capabilities and lead a team that sits at the heart of the product innovation.As Head of AI & Data Science, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of 12 experts (including 4 direct reports). You’ll report directly to the CTO and play a key role in aligning AI-driven development with product and business goals. Incorporate feedback and deliver concepts, documentation, and visual materials.Process OptimizationDefine and implement workflows and structures that support scalable, efficient team operations.Your profileAcademic BackgroundPh D in Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Data Science, Signal Processing or a related field.Technical Expertise5+ years of hands-on engineering experience in data science and ML/AI. Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (Py Torch, Tensor Flow, Scikit-learn). Solid understanding of CNNs, RNNs and time series analysis. Medtech and signal processing knowledge (PPG, ECG) are a plus.Leadership ExperienceSeveral years experience of people management, ideallywith responsibility for 10+ team members. Experience in fast-paced environments and team transformationIndustry FitBackground in regulated industries (e.g. medtech, pharma, fintech, aerospace). Dies zu gewährleisten, erfordert eine solide Planung.Kern unserer Planung ist die Nachfrageplanung. Aus dieser leiten wir die Entwicklung der Haupttreiber ab (z. B. Lieferungen, verkaufte Stückzahlen, Durchschnittspreise), anhand derer wir sehen, ob unsere physischen und personellen Kapazitäten reichen und anhand derer wir unsere Deckungsbeitrags- und Erfolgsrechnung modellieren.Unsere Aufgabe ist es, unserem Unternehmen kurz- mittel- und langfristige Planzahlen für die wichtigsten Treiber (Stück, Lieferungen) und daraus abgeleitete operative (z. B. Personalbedarf Logistik, Einkaufsvolumen) und finanzielle Kennzahlen (Entwicklung des Deckungsbeitrags, EBIT-Marge, etc.) zur Verfügung zu stellen. Du verstehst betriebswirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge, hast Erfahrung in Unternehmensplanung sowie Controlling und bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in Data Science mit.Deine AufgabenNach der Einarbeitung übernimmst du Verantwortung für Teile der Budgetierung und Finanzplanung, wie z. B. die Planung des Deckungsbeitrags pro Warengruppe, die Personal-, oder Betriebskostenplanung, Planung der Investitionen, etc. Für die relevanten Annahmen holst du dir Input bei den Fachabteilungen oder Geschäftsleitungsmitgliedern.Systematische Abweichungen zwischen Plan und Ist nutzt du als Anregung für kontinuierliche Verbesserungen unserer Planung.Du analysierst Abweichungen zum Budget und kannst diese erklären. Dazu baust du dir ein fundiertes Verständnis unserer Daten und Prozesse auf und entwickelst Controlling-Instrumente (z. B. Tableau-Dashboards), welche die Arbeit unseres Finance Teams wie auch anderer Abteilungen erleichtern. Z. B. ist es uns wichtig, jederzeit eine belastbare Sicht auf die Kosten pro Lieferung zu haben und die Entwicklung von Warenmarge, Durchschnittspreis und Stück pro Lieferung erklären zu können.Du schreibst eigenständig SQL-Abfragen, um dir eine Datenbasis für Analysen zu schaffen, oder um Inputdaten für den Finanzplan aufzubereiten. Du automatisierst wiederkehrende Abfragen, indem du sie in die Job-Schedules unseres Datawarehouse einbindest und überwachst die Konsistenz der Daten.Um Forecasts zu erstellen, oder um eine komplexere Prozessierung von grösseren Datenmengen zu automatisieren schreibst du selbstständig Python Skripte.Deine FähigkeitenDu hast einen Hochschulabschluss in Betriebswirtschaft oder Wirtschaftsinformatik, einen Abschluss als Expertin in Rechnungslegung und Controlling oder eine gleichwertige betriebswirtschaftliche Ausbildung.Du hast mehrjährige Erfahrung in Unternehmensplanung und ControllingDu hast dir im Studium oder durch eine gezielte Weiterbildung Kenntnisse in Data Science angeeignet und verfügst über Kenntnisse in SQL und Python (Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn). Diese konntest du bereits in die Praxis umsetzen, bei der Analyse von grossen Datensets oder beim Schreiben von Skripten zur Automatisierung von Prozessen. Vielleicht kennst du dich auch bereits mit Git (Github / Azure Dev Ops) und Cloud Services (GCP) aus.Du bist motiviert, deine Kenntnisse in Finance und in Data Science weiterzuentwickeln.Du bist in der Lage, dir in kurzer Zeit neue technische Skills anzueignen (z.
