We are looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to join a growing team of Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers and Software Developers, responsible for product and technology development in consumer webcams and applications. Following best practices in AI/ML and SW development, you will work in cross-functional teams across software and hardware engineering, program management, product management and design, to efficiently deliver on a product strategy. You will also work closely with Logitech's Technology Office in developing the technology portfolio for disruptive innovation.

The Data Science Consultant - Precision Medicine you will be a key member of our dynamic team, empowered to have a significant impact on the continuous growth of our business. You will work with our partners in biopharma across the entire drug R&D value chain, achieving their vision of precision medicine through leveraging the full power of clinical, phenotype, molecular, and imaging data. This includes using your scientific and technical knowledge to solve real-world scientific challenges.
This position reports to the head of Customer Success Team and is part of Genedata Profiler, located in Basel.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Play a key role in Genedata Profiler Implementation projects, as a scientific expert providing consulting, business process analysis, and solution design.
+ Scope and execute customer Data Science projects delivering results and presentations that meet the high standards our clients expect.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as their primary contact for scientific and technical matters.
+ Collaborate with Sales to identify new opportunities and contribute to business growth.
+ Share insights from customer interactions with internal teams including Sales, SW-Development, and Product Management.
The essential requirements of the job include :
+ PhD or MS in bioinformatics, data sciences, health sciences, or related discipline, with strong foundations in both computational and life sciences.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and simplify complex scientific concepts.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or R, and extensive experience analyzing multi-omics, biomarker, imaging, and clinical data - ideally within biopharma research.
+ Strong project management abilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality within agreed timelines.
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, both internally and externally.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements :
+ Regular travel within Europe (approximately once or twice per month).
+ Occasional travel to the United States.

As a machine learning engineer in AI Enablement, you will be working closely with folks that span the gamut from Computational Scientists, Research Scientists, AI/ML experts, Product leaders, DevOps, and everyone in between.
