We are looking for a Marketing & Events Intern to support the organization of scientific events such as conferences, congresses, webinars and seminars. You will be an integral part of our global marketing team and will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the Life Sciences industry. You will be reporting to the Marketing & Events Manager.

Profile
You are a student or have graduated in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Events Management and you have an interest in working in Life Sciences Marketing or you have some previous experience in a similar role, including positions in Marketing or event organization.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assist with the organization and execution of scientific conferences, webinars, local seminars, and roadshows
  • Help to create and maintain marketing and promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital tools
  • Be responsible for marketing materials stock and support logistics for global conferences
  • Attend some events and assist in promoting of the company and products as well as the setup and breakdown of event materials
  • Support the coordination of events logistics, including registration, travel, and accommodation for attendees
  • Track performance of activities and report on KPIs and ROI
  • Support budget tracking and reporting
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the events organization process

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or Event Management
  • Strong organizational skills and fast learner
  • Demonstrated team player that is also comfortable working independently
  • Some experience using tools such as Adobe CC Suite, Canva, HubSpot and SharePoint is a strong plus
  • Previous experience in the Life Sciences industry is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English is a must. Any other European language is a plus

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing Executive Intern that will be responsible for the support and execution of the marketing strategies and plans in Travel Retail EUROPE. As a marketing support function in the team, this role will work closely with Niche Brand managers and Training manager, cross functional teams within the business unit, as well as external business partners and clients to accomplish the strategic and financial goals of the business.

What you'll get to do

Brand Management/Trade Marketing:

  • Manage Niche Brands Marketing Calendars, maintain core catalogue and Master Assortment File
  • Assist and support both Niche Brand Managers in planning of campaigns, launches, digital/social plans and events in line with business strategies and follow through on the execution
  • Assist Niche Brand Managers in construction and deployment of 360: be involved in development of locally sourced sell-out tools that are essential for supplementing sales and events
  • Assist Brand Managers in post launch/animation analysis and reporting
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in the planning and execution of campaigns and launches
  • Prepare & disseminate of Seasonal Marketing Books, Go-to-market presentations
  • Work closely with in-store team to ensure impactful in-store, temporary and OOH execution
  • Provide support on execution of on-counter/ in-store/ virtual/ VIP events to drive consumer engagement and to create luxury brand experiences
  • Provide strong support with clear objectives and deliverables for field team implementation

Operational support for Marketing & Training:

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for brand and retailer meetings
  • Monthly reporting on competitors' activities
  • Manage the budget and office order of stocks, samples, mocks-ups, press kits etc
  • Maintenance of brand marketing & training presentations and assets
  • Assist in the organization of 2026 Niche TR EUR seminar.
  • Help in organizing Training Events

We'd love to meet you if you have

  • Prior experience in the luxury/beauty or the travel retail industry will be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in business/marketing
  • Fluent in written and conversational English. Other languages is a plus
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint (advanced), Excel (advanced), Word
  • Passionate about luxury fashion/beauty
  • Strong project management skills, to manage complexity of multiple stakeholders and resources.
  • Good analytical skills with ability to grasp numbers associated with business strategies

  • Integrated Campaign Management

Develop medically accurate, engaging marketing materials (brochures, flyers, digital assets, presentations, sales tools) that are compliant with Swiss healthcare advertising regulations.

  • Patient-Oriented Communication

  • Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

Manage and enhance our digital presence through SEO/SEM, email marketing, website content, and social media. Drive qualified lead generation and brand visibility.

  • Market Intelligence

  • Project & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Overview & Support for Blood Collection Centers

Provide branding and marketing support to blood collection centers across Switzerland, ensuring a consistent and professional customer experience. Collaborate closely with nurse teams to enhance communication and operational alignment, while proactively collecting and integrating patient feedback to continuously improve our services.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in marketing, ideally within the healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry in Switzerland
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong track record in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital tools (e.g., Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms) is a strong plus
  • Professional level fluency in at least two of the following languages: French (C1), English, and German
  • Strong internal service orientation, problem-solving skills, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of personal responsibility

On the Marketing Communications front, the teams develop and execute integrated strategies aligned with business objectives, helping countries across the region to plan, manage, and deliver campaigns across digital, physical, and hybrid channels. This includes driving customer awareness and engagement through media, events, and content, while ensuring consistency of our brands and messaging across EMEA.
The EMEA Business Intelligence and Marketing communications Leader will lead these two teams under the leadership of the EMEA Marketing Strategy and Operations Leader. The role spans CP, SAT, and Seeds, working in close partnership with the Regional Marketing Leader, Regional Portfolio Leaders, CUs and Country teams, as well as Global BU counterparts. The role is instrumental in enabling the Marketing and Commercial teams with the right insights, tools, and campaigns to drive effective decision-making, strengthen customer engagement, and maintain a competitive edge in both the multi-year planning cycle and long-term regional strategy.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Provide line management and leadership to the **Business Intelligence** and **Marketing communications** teams across EMEA.
+ Guide the **Business Intelligence team** in delivering market intelligence, competitor analysis, market research, and analytics to support strategic and operational decisions.
+ Lead the **Marketing communications team** in developing communications assets, executing integrated campaigns, and coordinating the Marketing communications network across countries in the region.
+ Assess competitor strategies and market dynamics for relevant products, translating insights into clear recommendations for regional and global leadership.
+ Drive business-critical processes and milestones, including multi-year planning, Investor Relations / Mid-Month Review, CWAF inputs, quarterly earnings, business updates, Black Box, and inventory tracking.
+ Ensure effective use of BI tools and data to generate timely, actionable analyses and support decision-making.
+ Maintain deep knowledge of the AgTech industry and business trends through engagement with internal teams, customers, industry experts, and external networks.
+ Champion Market Intelligence excellence across the region, fostering collaboration and capability building with country-level teams.
+ Oversee the creation, localization, and delivery of Marketing communications assets, ensuring brand consistency while adapting to local market needs.
+ Plan and deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, and content) that strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.
+ Build and sustain strong networks with media, agencies, and industry partners, while ensuring effective internal communication and alignment across stakeholders.
+ Collaborate beyond Marketing with Finance, Regulatory, CUs, and other functions to align insights, communications, and strategic priorities.

Key capabilities & skills
+ 10-15+ years of experience in Marketing, Marketing communications, Sales, and/or Business Intelligence, ideally within the AgTech industry.
+ Bachelor's degree in Ag Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
+ Proven track record of leading teams and delivering insights, campaigns, and communications that drive business impact.
+ Strong stakeholder management and networking skills, with the ability to influence across functions, regions, and cultures.
